The KC Star is a rag of a paper that needs to go out of business and sell their glass building downtown to someone who does something worthwhile for kansas city in it.

KC Star article, right? Let me guess, Mahomes era is over?

As long as Andy Reid is still the HC and as long as Patrick Mahomes is still the QB, I see no reason nor excuse to push the panic button after a regular season loss, especially when it is against a Super Bowl contender like the Bills.

This thread reads like a chain letter.

I hate stupid ****ing articles like this that make big deals out of games that don't have much meaning.

I remember last year getting absolutely obliterated by Tennessee and Buffalo, losing two flukey games to LA and Baltimore, being 3-4, and everyone was certain our reign was over.

I don’t care what the author of that article says—Buffalo is no closer to dethroning us for a fifth-straight AFCCG than they were after whooping us at home last year.

I really believe that Mahomes will play to HyperGod status from here on.

Yep, but that's what these assholes are trying to sell to anyone that halfway believes them.

There's a lot of positives to take away from this game. One thing is very clear, this offense is still finding itself. We're seeing Juju step up and MVS fade. So that opens the door for a guy like Skyy Moore. Can he take advantage?

On the other side, the Bills don't have that issue. Diggs, Davis, and Knox. They've been playing together for a while now. Shocking they only scored 24 points and the last TD came really late in the game.

We'll definitely get better as the season progresses but you hate to see one like that slip away.

Not nearly as bad as losing to the Colts how we did. That one is gonna haunt the Chiefs.

Hate to lose the game but now that we have I think it will be nice to not have the target on our back. Bills get to deal with that the rest of the year.

KC schedule will get a little easier after a pretty brutal first six weeks. Rookies will get better, offense will gel and defense will get better like they do every year with Spags. NOT WORRIED and Bills just won their SB. Did anyone see how ecstatic they all were to win a regular season game?

Lastly Mahomes will have the advantage if they meet again. He will have the chip on his shoulder when it matters. And if he has the same chip he had when they played Tampa no one will beat them.

TambaBerry 10-18-2022 07:03 AM

This is such a stupid article. So many things had to go right for the mighty "best" team in football the Bills to beat us on Sunday. We had a TD called back. Missed a field goal, missed a shot at a field goal for a poor decision by Patrick. Kelce gets called for OPI when Davis did the exact same thing if not worse on his TD catch. If Andy could decide to put games away instead of what ever the **** it is he does we would have won that game with ease. Not even worried about facing them again. We lost to them last year in the regular season as well. Where was that article at saying how this is the new reality the Chiefs will face. It doesn't matter at all, the game that matters is the one in the playoffs.

**** THE KANSAS CITY STAR

Marcellus 10-18-2022 07:24 AM

So Buffalo went all in financially, KC regressed this offseason and yet the regular season game against Buffalo was much more competitive than it was last year when they played? Even with 2 rookies starting at CB? Holding Buffalo to 24 this time?

Yea sounds like a real cpassing of the torch......or you could argue KC is still better this year than last......Likely to be 5-7 after 7 games when last year they were 3-4 after 7 with an easier schedule last year.
