If the Chiefs lose then the Bills probably end up with the bye I don’t think the Bills would give their starters two weeks off because that could come back to bite them.

This true. However, once the NFL made the decision to not have the Jags vs Titans game on SNF, it opened up scenarios where the least likely team to change much of anything would be Detroit. If Seattle wins, Detroit will have somewhat of an emotional let down but it's not like Detroit will sit players or whatever. They still have a chance to knock the Packers out of the playoffs, have a winning record for the first time in years, and create momentum and something to build on for next season.

It's far from ideal but the NFL doesn't really care and I'm guessing the number of people who say "this is really unfair to the Seahawks so I'm not watching" is zero.

It’s absolutely ridiculous.

If the Bills win tomorrow and then the Chiefs lose on Saturday, Bills get the 1 seed, have the option to rest starters even more next weekend (+bye), and the Pats have a huge advantage playing against a resting Bills team when competing for the last playoff spot against the Dolphins and Steelers.

No idea how the NFL feels comfortable potentially giving away this advantage. It’s the entire reason why the games are TBD - so this situation doesn’t exist.

If the Bills win tonight, we’re guaranteed to at least have the 2 seed and realistically no shot of having the 1. Reid could treat Saturday’s game as a bye week and rest everyone, which isn’t a terrible idea considering the players we have that are banged up.

Working it would SUCK.

Honestly the novelty of CES wears off pretty quickly. Seeing all the same shit from Sony and Samsung every year kind of runs together. I go with a purpose - walking around to see random shit isn’t worth the trouble. I go to meet with clients and partners in a bunch of brief 1:1 meetings. I find it to be productive. I start setting up meetings in November.

Working CES on the floor would definitely require enormous feats of endurance. In my younger days as an employee of larger tech companies I did that sort of thing and it is definitely draining.

We'll probably get Cheffers. He'll keep it close.

Why do the Bills get an advantage to see if KC wins their game a full day before playing?

If we win, they have to play hard.

If we lose, they can rest their players.

If they lose tonight, it's the opposite.

Huh? How’s it the same?

They win tonight. We still have to play hard in case the Pats pull an upset.

The Bills win tonight they don’t have to do anything on Sunday if we lose Saturday. That’s an advantage

If they win tonight and we lose Saturday it's done.

If they lose tonight and we lose Saturday Cincy has a shot at HFA

^ The NFL is setting it up so the Bills might get an advantage if the cards fall the right way for them.

If they win tonight and we played at the same time next week they would be forced to play to win.
