I keep visualizing an AP photo of him sitting up in his bed smiling, giving a reassuring thumbs up while surrounded by hospital staff, family, and/or friends/teammates. It's all I see.

Crazy - that fundraiser has now eclipsed his entire NFL contract. Hopefully once he pulls through he can get it set up to make a big difference.

The watching and waiting is indescribably traumatic for the family. It's always so heartening in these tragedies to see humanity unite around suffering. That felt support makes a huge difference.

They just said on ESPN that the doctors probably wouldn't start waking him up until it's been at least 24 hours from the event. SOP, apparently. So probably not going to hear anything for another 8-9 hours?
