He was horrible today

Other than he has turned into the never stop talking guy, his takes are terrible. During the Bills/Dolphins game, he made a comment about what would happen if the Dolphins went for it on 4th down and didn't make it instead of kicking. He said that the Bills would get the ball back with 1:19 left and after the FG, got the ball back with 1:15.
Amazing analysis. He used to be interesting and now it seems like he just likes to hear the sound of his own voice. Maybe this is what the NFL wants, I find it tedious and boring. |
Not sure if Romo is top 5 of the worst commentators.
|
Earlier in the season Romo seemed to have free range over his analysis. He’d be critical of players, coaches and penalties.
Now it seems he’s becoming a Collinsworth clone or like Gruden when he was in the booth where every guy is the greatest, coming up with stupid nicknames like Alien and whatever the call is on the field is justifiable even if it’s highly questionable or flat out wrong. Its been trending that way for him this season and I just assume it’s the natural evolution of any self persevering NFL in-game star analyst. |

Note: He's my favorite play-by-play guy of all time. I'm just saying, if that's the reason you hate Buck, there's another guy widely regarded as one of the best to ever do it who had that same issue. |

I liked him better when he predicted plays. Now he gets over excited and talks to much.
