Is the MRI just being extra safe? Or reason for concern?

Mahomes said he was fine after the game and felt better than he expected to. He said he’ll be ready for next week.

Obviously, he isnt going to say anything is wrong, but he sounded pretty confident.

I would say customary is a good description

There is no reason to not get it, it you want to know exactly what’s going on.

I believe he'll be ready for next week. I'm just choosing to believe he only suffered a mild sprain. He has shown the ability to heal and recover quickly in the past.

He definitely won't be 100% though, and that's a bummer. His ability to scramble and run for first downs is obviously importart. He can still get it done and I wouldn't bet against him.

Not mocking the guy

Mocking the team's and the media's responses

That was a wicked ankle twist. Lots of articular cartilages and ligaments. Good idea to know what exactly they’re dealing with. Being cautious is the correct thing.

Jags had the best pass rush we will face until the Superbowl.

Bills and Bengals are not as good, that should help a little. The NFC is loaded with pass rush but that will be almost a month away.

We just have to get by next week. If anyone can do it, its Patrick.

By what metric?

Sassy Squatch 01-21-2023 09:36 PM

The Bengals have Trey Hendrickson. That's enough for me to not want to play them at all.

Correct, he owns Orlando. That is a bad matchup for us.

I want to go through the Bengals most of all. Thats what this team needs to do for their own confidence.

Actually, they do. Better than the Bills who are better than the Bengals.

Mahomes seems to have pretty good ligaments. He had his kneecap wrapped around his pelvis and came back after a couple of weeks.

And he wanted to play immediately after the kneecap injury. Coaches & doctors forced him to sit out 2.5 games.
