I'd take him if he's cheap. He's not DHop or OBJ but he's a decent WR. He could replace JJSS' production pretty easily in this offense.

Just for S&G in the 10 games played by Robinson
Sacked: vs BUF (10-31) - 7 -- (1 Rec/2 Tgts, 12 yds) vs ATL (31-27) - 1 -- (4 Rec/5 Tgts, 53 Yds, 4 1stD, 1 TD) vs ARI (20-12) - 2 -- (2 Rec/5 Tgts, 23 yds, 1stD) vs SF (9-24) - 7 --(2 Rec/6 Tgts, 7 Yds) vs DAL (10-22) - 5 -- (3 Rec/5 Tgts, 12 yds) vs CAR (24-10) - 1 -- (5 Rec/6 Tgts, 63 Yds, 5 1stD, 1 TD) vs SF (14-31) - 2 -- (5 Rec/7 Tgts, 54 Yds, 3 1stD) vs TB (13-16) - 1 --(3 Rec/5 Tgts, 24 yds, 3 1stD) vs ARI (17-27) - 3 --(4 Rec/6 Tgts, 44 Tds 3 1stD) vs NO (20-27) - 4 --(4 Rec/5 Tgts, 47 Yds, 4 1stD, 1 TD) 33 sacks in 10 games if you compare side by side his performance vs times sacked you can see the difference. |

PFF had his receiving performance last year tied with - drum roll - Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle. 101st best in the league! So his stats suck and even PFF sees how mediocre he is. |

Yeah, the more I look at this guy, the less I like the idea. Still won't be surprised if it happens (or some JAG very similar to this guy), but I doubt he's anything more than JJSS 1.5
|
The only way I'm taking Robinson on this team is if he's cut and he signs for vet min. And even then...it's not stopping me from drafting one high.

I just find it funny we (CP) only point to PFF when it's convenient and trash it when it's not (Taylor). |
Why on earth would we have any interest in this guy?
It’s kinda obvious that Veach is going to attack WR like he did the CB group last year. A big swing early on and a couple more later on. He’s making the same predraft moves. Clearing the spots for the incoming cheap labor that will grow with Pat. Kind of an odd draft to do that in, but Veach and his guys must see things we don’t. |
