So we just added 569 and 4 yards back into that 2000, leaving a deficit of 1431 yards.

Also-he did this in our offense, with Kafka, and Daniel Jones for gods' sake.

So might be that this is the veteran familiar with the offense spot rather than Watson.

Look, in probability/statistics its 'subtract both the lowest/highest (outlier) values, then add then divide by (number of seasons) in the case, to find the average. I didn't make up the rules, some mathematician a thousand years ago did. That's just how it works.

No matter you want to cut it, his worst season and his best season can't be included.

I'm not even sure where he's coming up with this shit.

Btw, that's what I meant by "fudging around with the numbers." i didn't use Travis' numbers from last season, I looked at his last five seasons and figured the averages of certain stats like yards/1st downs/TDs, then allowed for a positive trend. Same thing for MVS. Just adjusted Toney's numbers upward as well as Skyy's, which is technically 'cheating,' but they don't have enough stats to work with, and I wasn't going to put them down for their stats from 2022. Kind of 'fuzzy math' for those two.

One of the Arrowhead Pride guys mentioned him last week as a potential signing.

This is in reality a special teams signing. His nice offensive year is a bonus and this just ads depth.

Also looking at the career stats of the Chiefs WRs...John Ross is second in TDs at 11..

pretty solid pickup ngl

Really? His tape looks better than that. Though, it appears that most of his good reps in the highlight reels I've seen are against some of the worst secondaries in the league, like MIN, TEN, CAR, DET.

Almost all his reps are from the slot, not a ton of YAC. But he's a returner so this takes that load off Toney and gives you a WR 4/5 thar returns and has play experience so that helps.

Yeah, noticed he was lining up in the slot a lot in the videos.

Welp, we'll see if he can improve over 2022. I like his footwork at the release, and he seems to have decent hands.

James had a rough year returning punts last year, fumbling issues, can’t believe that’s what he was signed for.

Replaces Hardman's numbers

Bob Dole 04-07-2023 06:48 PM

I'm guessing it's a low dollar, 1-year deal like with JuJu.

wazu 04-07-2023 06:49 PM

This guy made it on the fantasy football radar last year. Can't find any story that says what the deal is for, but assuming it's something small I really love this signing.

dlphg9 04-07-2023 06:53 PM

I think they're gonna use him as what Justin Watson was supposed to be before injuries gave him more reps. He probably will be the 4th WR and if we do have injuries or underperformers, then we know he can be an actual option, unlike Justin Dropson.

Toney's happy
