I feel bad for the kid bc I think this toss around was a smoke screen.

Side note: I don't recall any other year where players essentially tried out for a team like that before the draft? Is that legal? Will it be next season?

I dont see how they can limit who a non-contracted nfl hopeful can go work out with off of an nfl facilty.
