If he wants vet min with incentives that can get his pay to 5m….cut the man a check and get him a jersey.

Can he have CEHs #25 so he will look exactly like JC25?

Cook snd Pacheco would compliment each other pretty well if he would sign a deal like that. His skills absolutely translate to this offense, too.

One year to chase a ring?

Minnesota holding his rights only to cut him after June first (after teams don’t have cap space and positional need that creates a market for a player like Cook) would be a terrible look and something agents don’t forget.

But I was told they are great as they got A's on the player surveys...

Seems like our type of FA pickup this time of the year. Great player Already has his bag. Maybe they want a chance at a ring now and will work on the cheap to get to that team. We have certainty did that for several high level players already,

You want to give Pacheco 20 carries a game for 17 weeks and just pray he's healthy for the playoffs?

Dude was patched together with duct tape in the Super Bowl.

Take the load way off Pacheco until December.

At this point, Cook basically has a detachable, artificial shoulder that comes bundled with his pads but he'd still look great in the Chiefs' backfield.

Agreed. As much as I like Pacheco, his running style is not conducive to a long, healthy career. He runs angry and embraces contact vs trying to avoid it. To get the most out of him his workload has to be managed.

O.city 05-19-2023 08:00 AM

I'd roll with the UDFA RB they picked up and let him soak up some carries.

I wish Jones' deal would hurry up and get done. Then a move like Cook would make sense.

Patched together with duct tape?

The way the guy played, nobody had any inkling the guy was even injured.

He was dinged up, not patched together with ****ing duct tape. Jesus Christ.

I guess Brett Favre was what? Was he in traction for his career by your drama queen damage scale?

It's still a violent sport. You're expected to actually play football, ALL THE TIME, to get paid the hilarious salary that is paid to play a game for a living.

Pacheco is a ****ing man's man, laced his cleats up a little tighter and helped secure a championship, and got his dings fixed in the offseason.

Pacheco had all of those injuries… which yes he effectively played through… despite only being the Chiefs RB1 for about half a season last year.

Pacheco as RB1 for a full season with his punishing running style?

Having solid depth would be beneficial.

Surely he wants a Ring...he will have to pay the Iron Price Chiefs Tax. Love his ability...still had plenty juice when I watched last year, esp. vs. Muffalo

Have you had a broken hand before. Have you had a torn labrum.

Would you classify them as dings. Or would you classify them as injuries.

PAcheco has a punishing style, half him punishing, half him being punished. Few humans will last long taking full shots like that. Emmmit didn't take that many full on shots in 5 years of 20 carries/game.
