That not on Smith. He has outside first and should have help inside. Thuney was late. JMO

Andy just pulled him out to remove the target on his back for a minute and to calm him down...

A blue chip T on Mahomes’ blindside would be amazing

I think LT and I don't think it's close. A year ago I'd have said it's a toss up with WR but I think the main thing we need is time and confidence for Mahomes. Give him an LT you can stick on an island and RBs who can focus on being a true receiving option and I think we're golden. DE - cool to have a genuine rotation, but with Omenihu, FAU and Karlaftis they're not getting the reps so they're not giving as much vaue, imo.

I’d think a “great” DE would steal a majority of the snaps at the position. And I don’t think you can ever have too many pass rushers, though I understand the logic in feeling like we’re already well off so the resources would be better spent elsewhere.

I tend to agree, although it'll be interesting to see what we have in Morris.

Thuney has definitely been below par by his standards the first 2 games. I'm pretty certain he'll right that and we'll see better from that side. I think that'll go a long way to giving Mahomes confidence in this OL

Get an above average LT this year and take another swing at WR with the second pick. Then DT. Then I'm going pretty much all offense rest of the draft, IOL, RB, another WR, TE...whatever. Obviously you see where the talent is but man I'm gunning for offensive resources.

Next year I'm going WR R1 and then a whole load of D again.

I don't think I'd chase "great" at DE by trading up for one. Could definitely use some more depth there, basically always, but I like some mid tier FA's for that.

LT for me. WR you could talk me into if it's like a Jamar Chase type that falls a bit but give me an athletic LT.

AKA the Alt kid.

Using a 1st on a LT after paying a RT $20M would annoy me. Id take a WR.

That's exactly why a stud LT on a rookie contract would be a good deal.

Uh...that's WHY i'd take one.

I could basically have my LT and RT locked up for what....28 million a year for a while?

So plus level bookend OTs for like $23m would piss you off? You really don't understand the salary cap.
