I do think the idea entering Baltimore was to come into 2024 with a DE rotation of GK, Omenihu, and FAU. Danna out, Felix in.
Now we know Omenihu production will be a bonus, so it’s just damn tough. And more challenging to let Chris go. |
Depending on FA, LB might pop up as a draft need. Only 3 under contract next year and we need some speed.

Seems there's JJ Watt type player being thrown around. |

Just think if they had done that this year for Laporta instead of FAU. |

I’ve actively tried not to dabble much in draft stuff until after the SB but I think Herring takes the Danna spot, FAU takes over for Charles until he’s healthy. Bring back Sneed and Tranquil while eyeing the Reid extension. Gay walks unless there’s just no market. Jones walks at his age it really doesn’t matter what he does, long term winners don’t take those contracts on. You build the D with coverage in mind. Give the injured/unproven front end time get home. This leaves you gaping DT hole, much to be desired at Wr and a left tackle question mark. The only players the playoffs changed my view on are Donavan Smith, who’s been better than he looked all year and ohminihue who unfortunately is not going be available early next year.

Letting Humphrey walk would be insanity.

I think it just reinforced for me that if Pat locks in and plays like he has in the postseason, this team was more like a 14/15 win team.
So just keep doing what you're doing and hope the drop and pat funk pendulum swing back your way next year. |
