Kind of fitting HBO had a Rocky marathon on today

Right when Apollo died in 4 is when the news broke he died. Very weird

This one is tough

When you're driving in a part of town that has malt liquor signs and bars on windows its best to go back they way you came. pro-tip of the day.

My sister used to live out in SoCal and she got to meet him when my niece was little, they ran into him having lunch with his son one day. They said he was a very nice man. RIP

As a young boy growing up in the 80’s, Weathers was always someone I considered a bad ass. A real man’s man. RIP.

RIP. Man I loved him in everything, but Predator as a kid was just mind-blowing.

Sure-Oz 02-03-2024 09:43 AM

So many tributes from former co stars etc saying how much they loved him. I liked seeing him in anything. Going to have to rewatch the rocky movies and some others.

Bad ass American boomer.

crayzkirk 02-04-2024 08:48 AM

Watched Predator in his honor Friday night. Seems like he was well liked and respected.

There's no 'making up' for being a Raider.

You know, since you put it that way.....good point.

I step into the steam on the men's side of the spa and there was a guy already in there. It wasn't super hot but enough to make you sweat. There's something about the guy that looked familiar. You don't want to stare because you're in the steam but I kept wondering - how do I know this guy? And then it hits me - it's APOLLO CREED! My eyes are closed as I'm in the steam but I crack them open just a bit and sure enough, it's Apollo. Well, it's only the 2 of us in there and being in the steam, we're both naked although draped with towels. This isn't really the time for me to say, "I'm a big fan of your work." Thought that would be akward. So I kept my mouth and my eyes shut and he left the steam. But I was in the steam naked with Carl Weathers.

Just my 2¢

That's almost a Penthouse Forum.
