Beyonce is a super bowl calibre halftime act. Of course it makes sense for a subscription service to do this especially when they're trying to prove they have the cajones to carry an exclusive event. With Netflix pulling in both subscribers and ads, they probably did very well for themselves.

I can tell you without a doubt that the most animated my women family members were through both games was during that halftime show. |

She was paid $20 million for the halftime show. The rest was/will be for other stuff she does for Netflix.

numbers were good but 60 mil for Beyonce? Hell no.
How much did they pay Mariah Carey to stand there and lip sync the most annoying song in Christmas History? It made Lebron mad, so that is a good thing. |

$60 Million, is she doing a porn for Netflix too?

Netflix has an absurd amount of money. They throw so much money away on mediocre action flicks with name stars.

I'm too lazy to try and look it up.
But the question isn't really the number of Netflix streamers. It is how many new subscribers. I mean sure, you want to keep current subscribers happy. But if they got those numbers almost entirely from existing base versus signing up a bunch of new people. |

I waited until it showed up on NFL network, but I realize most can't do that without spoilers. The quality was YouTube TV as always with being able to FF through commercials. |
