LOL I thought about buying a car and then selling it when I get home. I don't know but somehow I'm getting out of here tomorrow.

You can’t spell drunk without UNK. Top ten party college in the 90’s

I have a 62 LeSabre that at some point I need hauled from Kearney, NE to Springfield, MO

You are giving me good data for the costs!

Loved living there. 1995-2007. Miss the morels and the sand pit fishing and all the pheasant/duck/goose/turkey hunting. Met a ton of great people, too!

$785.00 to freight my Tahoe to Springfield, MO.

I've made it home! I know you all were worried about me so I thought I'd let you know. I went with Thrifty Rent A Car because they had the only car in Kearney that could do a one-way trip. $400.00 for a one day rental and the nice lady made it unlimited miles. That 4L Chevy engine was a bad ass! I think the freighter for my Tahoe will pick it up tomorrow and maybe it will be dropped off at the transmission shop by Friday. $785.00 ...

I've driven all over the USA without having much trouble but this time I had an issue. It was all handled in an expedited manor so it's all good. I've driven from SW MO to the east cost, Springfield MO to Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas to Laguna Beach, CA, Springfield to Aspen. For all the driving I've done my troubles have been few.

Glad you made it back okay. What a pain in the ass. That rental fee was absolutely criminal.

My mom had one. Hell yeah they were.

Glad to hear you're home. Expensive road trip though.

Call for reinforcements?

I played it right for me.

I haven't driven anything but an 8 cylinder ever so the 4L was quite the surprise.
