The NFL makes and interprets the rules. The rules are going to favor the QB and you have to adjust your game accordingly even if some fans want to pretend that a QB is treated as any other RB. Here's a hint, they are not. I also think it was a dirty hit anyway. Edit: Maybe the first down was more in play than I realized. |

I also think it was a dirty hit because of the elbow, but the 1st down was at stake. As a defender, it's your job to defend that LtG, and the idea is to drive the runner back. At the end of the day, TL slid late, whether he was trying to gain the 1st down, or he was trying to draw a flag, and that got him hit the way he did. HE should've dove or just run for it, instead of sliding as late as he did. |
Anyone that hits any player in the head in the manner he did, should be suspended for more than the rest of this season. He was clearly trying to do harm to him, and I don't care if it was a running back, a wide receiver, or whoever it was....that was a dirty hit and I'm glad they upheld the suspension he DID get.

What a douchebag.

I’m trying to run a honest program so…I thoroughly enjoyed seeing someone knock the shit out of Sunshine.

He posted it on his X account as well.
And yet the usual dumbshit apologists such as Mecca and DaVirus are quick to defend this piece of shit. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">IF YOU WANT ME TO BE YOUR VILLAIN, ILL BE YOUR VILLAIN!🖕🏾SEE YOU SOON…🃏 <a href="https://t.co/GA5FMglMjz">pic.twitter.com/GA5FMglMjz</a></p>— Azeez Al-shaair (@A_train2_) <a href="https://twitter.com/A_train2_/status/1864475210012831837?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 5, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

I'm sure his teammates are delighted to see comments like this. It's a funny thing, but when you make yourself a pariah in the NFL, you're not just making yourself a target. You're making the people around you targets as well. I doubt CJ Stroud thinks this is a wonderful attitude for Shaiir to take.
