The TE myth is getting old now. The Ravens had them at the start of the season and in the afc championship too. Spags knows what he's doing.

This thread is going to be awkward if we lose to the Texans.

Likely went off for 111 yards that first game. Bengals TE's lit up the chiefs and had something like 123 yards...TE play has been an ongoing situation all year. Losing Willie Gay was like a kidney\liver punch to the defense. Without his speed the D can't cover TE's like they could last year and that shit has been open all year long. Front end botched that.

I dont understand how there is more hate for the Bills than the ravens. The ravens are consistently picked over us. Lamar is the most frequent qb ranked ahead of Mahomes. The media has done more to prop up Baltimore during the Chiefs dynasty than any other team. The media narrative is that the ravens beat themselves last year in the AFCCG. If the ravens wins a Super Bowl you can guarantee there will be Lamar is better than Mahomes talk.

Plus, as a once long suffering Chiefs fan I can sympathize with Bills fans. Ravens fans on the other hand l act like they’ve won 10 super bowls. If not the Chiefs I wouldn’t mind the Bills winning it all. The ravens winning their 3rd would make an already snobbish fan base worse.

Buffalo fans were dismissing KC as a non-factor all year. Imagine the unearned arrogance of a fanbase whose team has accomplished squat, dismissing a b2b champ with one loss in its last 22 games. Guess it goes to your head when you’re 2-3 vs playoff teams. All year they’ve been saying that Allen’s superior to Mahomes “and everybody knows it.” They’ll be insufferable if he wins a SB.

I want to see Baltimore tear them to pieces, then take a beatdown in Arrowhead.

I think a threepeat would end most of this nonsense.

thats what im anticipating. long and tall string beans trying to set the edge against Henry and the Ravens OL? Good luck, Bills.

I just looked at the game by game stats this season and TE has been a huge issue all season. The stats bear that out consistently with every teams TE’s or backup TE’s having big games or definitely bigger than usual games, relative to their per game output.

To make matters worse, Gay only signed a 3 mil one year deal. That is peanuts. His speed was critical in the second level, and is a big loss. Don’t tell me Veach couldn’t take a few million off Creed’s ridiculous market resetting contract, or a mil off Noah Gray’s expensive deal, to try and keep Gay in the fold. We have no LB depth as well!

Josh Allen is on another level this season.

Lamar generally stinks against Spags' defense; however, Harbaugh is a far superior HC, IMO. I'm torn. I just hope they beat the crap out of each other and are physically and mentally exhausted from a triple-overtime game.

There was a post here somewhere where somebody on Twitter/X found a specific formation that targets the TE and has been kicking Spags' ass all season. It was like he had no answer for it.

Which QB needs it more? Lamar is 3-4 in the playoffs. Allen is 1-4 in non-wildcard games.

Which team would you rather beat in the AFCCG? Is that the same thing as the team you think we match up better against?

Baltimore has been there more times in recent history, plus I hate the Lamar hype. I also appreciate the battles with Josh Allen much more than those against Lamar. I'd rather see Buffalo get there.

I don't necessarily think we match up better with Baltimore. Their defense is far better than Buffalo's and can really give us some problems. That offense with Henry is also a different beast than it was a year ago. They are absolutely harder to defend and we are very shallow in the LB depth department.

Not really. Fans have no control over who wins or loses.

I get so annoyed when fans say “don’t get cocky” or “we can’t look past the XXXX’s”.

I’m not on the team. I can do whatever I want.

I may have to eat shit for it later, but it doesn’t change the game.

The DeMar game cancelling/throwing in Mahomes rookie year to prop up Allen's stats/self-righteous Bills Mafia. F Buffalo

It’s why I never talk sh*t before a game

Postgame yes. Any given Sunday…..or Saturday….

Great thing about this match up is that, if we beat Houston, we can sit back on Sunday night and watch these teams clobber each other....

There's probably other reasons besides money for why they didn't re-sign Gay. Either his injury history or off field issues. Yeah, the coverage was better with Gay, but the pass rush and CB play was also better the last few years compared to this season.
