Is it bad that when I saw the news about this earthquake this morning, I immediately thought of teedubya posting wild theories about why the earthquake happened? I'm not joking, that's really the first thing I thought of.

I've personally never seen anything like it... Indonesia was crazy, but this earthquake was HUGE. Plus, the sky isn't falling, the ground is cracking. |

My sister and her husband in Kailua-Kona are okay. Apparently a lot of water. I quote: "It appears that Alii Drive was under water to a depth of several feet and well back across the road. The pier was completely covered and the King Kam has a foot of water in the lobby. Reports of homes in Kealekekua Bay ripped off their foundations and floating in the bay." Didn't affect them directly, their home is well up on a mountain, but they are concerned about some folks they know.
Youtube time-lapse photography someone took of the surges there: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YjCV182S5y4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Yeah, I've been there.... Not too often, but I'm familiar with it.
The reason that I explore all of this stuff and find it endlessly fascinating is the indigenous cultures of the world predicting that shit would go crazy during this time. Plus, I find the government to be very corrupt, so I always look at things from a skewed perspective. I ask "Who has the most to gain" and in most instances its the govt... I also watch for the classic "Create a problem... wait for a reaction... offer solution" that rears its ugly head time and again. Most people suck on mainstream media's teet, whereas I look for what the real story is. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong... and Im not afraid to question the official story. Sometimes that makes me a "kook", but my self worth and opinion of myself isn't based on others opinions of me. I'm a free thinker. :-) This disaster is completely natural in my estimation, although HAARP was going at full blast during the time of the earthquake. So, I'm not 100% sure of it being completely natural. But then again, that is me. I was in the military, I know somethings aren't as they appear to most citizens... and that is fine. |

Wait until you guys find out the energy companies are experimenting with actually triggering earthquakes in order to generate tsunamis in order to harness the power of wave energy.

teedub, I wonder what your definition of "the government" is. What does Barak Obama stand to gain from any one of your conspiracy theories?

Teedubya sure has been sniffing alot of Jankem.

I read USGS reports the 8.9 magnitude quake ripped a hole in the Earth's crust 150 miles long and 50 miles across.
Yikes. |
Here is some interesting evidence that shows HAARP has been fired up these last 3 days in the area. Not saying, but it sure is interesting.
Most of you have probably never even heard of HAARP. http://www.pakalertpress.com/2011/03...aarp-evidence/ Not saying this is the truth, but interesting to look at, and to come to a conclusion for yourself. |

The Central Bankers own and control everything... so, the dollar is being propped up... Now, if this earthquake was created, which I'm doubting is the case, the only thing it would stand to gain from it, would be to pummel the 3rd largest economy, which would prop up the dollar temporarily. |

In fact, there appears to be a government PDF at the bottom there, which I've read. It's quite damning. http://www.cftc.gov/ucm/groups/publi...08-004c002.pdf So, I question the official story, most of the time. And a majority of the time, my intuition is correct. |

It's amazing that people can blame an earthquake causing a tsunami on the US Gov't.

And that NO ONE is better than you because they have more money, stature, education, etc... and you are better than no one. I teach them to be the BEST THEM, that they can be... and rise above petty things that don't matter. Treat others how they would like to be treated. And so far, my kids are amazing. So, they are doing fine, and quite well rounded. Think for yourself. Be unique. Be a leader and not a follower. Even if people think you are reeruned, stand by your beliefs, but remain flexible. And to eliminate hate. And give love and be love. ;) |
I wonder how they were already able to ascertain that a gash in the crust 150 miles long and 50 miles wide? This quake happened deep beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean, right? They've already got subs down there? Secret gubmint radar scanner?

The emergency diesel generators on that nuclear plant have been badly damaged. The multi-reactor Fukushima atomic power plant is now relying on battery power, which will only last around a few hours. The danger is, the very thermally hot reactor cores at the plant must be continuously cooled for 24 to 48 hours.
Without any electricity, the pumps won’t be able to pump water through the hot reactor cores to cool them. Once electricity is lost, the irradiated nuclear fuel could begin to melt down within a few hours. If the containment systems fail, a catastrophic radioactivity release to the environment could occur. The result would be unimaginable, the plant is the biggest nuclear facility in the world.... and it was built in 1971. The biggest and the oldest. :doh!: |

Here's an aerial view of the plant. Right next to the ocean, apparently. Must have taken quite a wallop from the tsunami:
