What a hit. He should have watched that one.

Boom! Bitches!

Great Expectations 06-09-2015 08:44 PM

Infante is off balance. He is moving his back foot all over the place during his swing.

That was a shot from Salvy....

duncan_idaho 06-09-2015 08:45 PM

Absolutely blasted that pitch. Possibly the hardest hit ball all year.

Twins bullpen has survived on a lot of voodoo luck so far. If that normalizes... They will fade.

Coach 06-09-2015 08:45 PM

Outfante Line!

Hard not to. The dude does everything right from a fans perspective.

Sal just sitting on the bench calmly minding his own business? Is this real life? LMAO

Sal is also as nice of a person as you'll ever meet. He is a genuinely good dude who treats everyone with respect. He could be an all-timer in Kansas City sports history.

Salvy's homer was one of the hardest hit I'd ever seen. And that's after seeing several of Stanton's shots.

Yes. And I'm convinced that given rest of playing 1B rather than behind the dish, his offensive profile would tick up.

Fresh Salvy is a beast at the plate.

What I'm saying? Re-work the deal and be ready to play him part-time at 1B when Hosmer leaves.

Coach 06-09-2015 08:53 PM

95 on that one.

Great Expectations 06-09-2015 08:53 PM

He hit 95 there.

Yep. We're sacrificing him offensively by grinding him down behind the plate. We should either grind him into dust and then let him go or start getting him some meaningful rest.

petegz28 06-09-2015 08:56 PM

thats really unlike hunter to slam the bat like that

kc rush 06-09-2015 08:56 PM

Get him straight Salvy.

Saul Good 06-09-2015 08:59 PM

Amazing how few runs have scored considering the ump left his strike zone in his other pants.

You have to wait until the end of the AB to decide what the correct move was.

Since Holland struck him out, pitching to him was the obviously play!

Saul Good 06-09-2015 09:04 PM

One hit. Wow.

duncan_idaho 06-09-2015 09:04 PM

Nice win. Time to wake up the bats tomorrow against Gibson.

I don't think upper 90s Holland is coming back. But I like to see him adapting to who he is now. Adding a third pitch to the mix can help him make up for the lost velocity.

ChiTown 06-09-2015 09:04 PM

First game I have listened to on radio from start to finish. Quite enjoyable.

Let's sweep these assholes and go up 2 games!

Me too.
He threw me a ball after batting practice before Sunday's game. Threw it over a crowd at the rail right to me about 15 rows deep. We had a moment.
