17-10 Dolphins with 7 minutes to go. Patriots have work to do or they're going to blow home field advantage.

WC round:

Chiefs at Texans
Steelers at Broncos

Divisonal round:

Chiefs at Bengals
Steelers at Patriots

AFCCG:

Steelers at Chiefs

At this point, I would doubt that the Steelers even make it past the first round. They can't do shit.

They're a dangerous team because of their QB but I agree all these people saying they're the scariest team might be exaggerating a bit. It seems to be the consensus around the league... people even theorizing Belichick threw OT against the Jets last week to keep the Steelers out. They are dangerous and could win the AFC, no doubt... but they have weaknesses like everyone else.

FloridaMan88 01-03-2016 02:43 PM

Dolphins getting to Brady.

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-03-2016 02:45 PM

These early games are a good example of how mediocre the AFC is. New England is playing for HFA after an embarrassing gaffe last week, while the Dolphins are playing out the string with an interim coach, and they are down a TD.

Pittsburgh is playing arguably the worst team in the NFL whose most notable player is in a controversial position yet again, but it's taken them into the 4th quarter to open up some breathing room.

The Jets win and they're in, they're playing against their former coach, and they've trailed the entire game.

It does not really matter which one of these teams win.

The Steelers are mediocre at best. They couldn't beat Ryan ****ing Mallet last week. Additionally, the Jets, while they have a good defense, still have a game manager talent that takes too many risks for his ability at QB and garbage at RB.

Denver and Cincinnati are just as vulnerable at this point, and the Texans are only in because they play in a joke of a division.

On a neutral field there isn't a team other than the healthy Patriots (who will likely be near full strength by the divisional round) that the Chiefs would be underdogs against.

espn

The Cowboys’ season in one play: Darren McFadden about to score a 23-yard touchdown but fumbles at the 1, ball goes out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback. Nothing says this season more than that play.

The Panthers remind me of the 2001 Bears from a luck perspective; a team that won a lot more games than it should have because they ran hot in coinflips.

They're probably a true talent 10-6/11-5 team.

Arizona is the best team at this point.
