Where is the precedent for the Patriots winning on the road against an MVP QB in the AFC CG?

An uncharacteristic 100 penalty yards and:

As far as the offense sputtering in the second half of the season, Brady has been playing with a torn MCL. He is healthy now.

Well then, mark it down, and feel free to check back into this thread after your old ass team loses next Sunday night.

Your team is garbage on the road and has been all season. Remember the beatdown Tom took last time you guys came to Arrowhead?? That’ll seem like a sweet lullaby compared to what will happen next week.

You had a hell of a run, though, but all things must come to an end . . . . .

This poster is looking for a precedent.

This is football, not a court of law.

Does it not worry you more that in your admittedly amazing playoff history you’ve been mediocre on the road? And this season you’ve been mediocre on the road? And the last time you played on the road at Arrowhead you got annihilated? And that you’re playing on the road next Sunday? Just asking as that might be more relevant come Sunday than how upstart teams have fared over the last several seasons against you in the playoffs.

You’re posting on a competitor’s message board and responding to each and every post like an insecure high schooler. We’re Chiefs fans - we don’t know how to act. We’re not used to being here. But you? One would think this wouldn’t be new territory and you’d brush all of this off. It’s actually kinda sad and I hope if/when we eventually have a fraction of the success that your franchise has had that Chiefs fans wouldn’t ooze this sort of insecurity. But hey, feel free to battle your own personal demons on ChiefsPlanet. We’re all very impressed.

Your sack numbers don't impress me. You blew a lot of subpar opponents out in 1sy halves of games and forced them to throw the ball a ton, meaning that they became one dimensional and you had a lot of passes attempted against you. I doubt you guys are top 5 in pressure rate.

Take a look at what Brady did to a much better defense in SBLII who had an elite DL but no one who could cover. He set postseason records against them.

By all means, nitpick the Chiefs to death while ignoring how horrible the Patsies have been on the road, how worthless Gronkowski has been lately, and how much the Chiefs’ defense has improved.

Blown out by the Titans, Jaguars and Lions? 5 road losses vs non-playoff teams? We’re supposed to be shaking in our boots because the Chargers are terribly coached?

Hell, the only good road win required 2 defensive TDs. You aren’t likely to get that next weekend. We’ll be partying like it’s 2014.

Yehoodi 01-13-2019 07:31 PM

Well folks looks like our two beloved teams are on a collision course in historic Arrowhead. Hope the game will live up to the hype and I think it will. Can not wait till next Sunday.

Glad to see the Pats win today and have been on the roll the last three games.

We have not fared well on the road this season and time will tell if that continues next Sunday night. My guess is that it will not but we will see.

Both teams played solid in each game this weekend and did not show signs of rust.

We are for the most part completely healthy so that is a good sign for us.

Should be a fun game next weekend.

Their defense average a FULL TOUCHDOWN less points at home this season and nearly led the league in 3rd down efficiency despite being bad most of the season.

Mahomes had zero passing TDs and they scored 30+ points. That's not good news for the Patriots at all. But keep pretending like it is.

That trash team the Patriots beat today got CRUSHED in their house by the Chiefs. They beat the Chiefs on a short week after the Chiefs played the Ravens. The Chiefs played the toughest schedule in the entire league.

It's amazing that with all those rings your team has, you still feel the need to do this. How much does the prescription cost to treat your inferiority complex?

Most of that is due to the 2015 Denver game. Let me know when you guys have that level of talent on D.

1-6 at home in the playoffs in the last 25 years.

You know how much better this offense is than Denver in 2015? LMAO

The combination of Jones, Ford, and Houston is actually superior to that Denver front, even with Von Miller.

It's amazing that with all those rings your team has, you still feel the need to do this. How much does the prescription cost to treat your inferiority complex?

There's no prescription for a tiny Boston dick. Even if they were "average Joes," you seen the monstrosities they call women up there?

Cause they’re not morons.

Even Romo was really bullish on the Chiefs in the broadcast. Basically said Belichick needs to pull some magic out or the Pats lose.
