Food-wise, no. Drink-wise, one 20-oz (I think) unopened bottle of water.

You will walk through a metal detector on your way in. It's airport style now. You put all of your metal and such in a bin and they pass it to you on the other side of the detector. Anything you think you can get past that....

Frazod 01-18-2019 09:25 AM

There's supposed to already be 6 to 10 inches of snow on the ground when I'm supposed to leave in the morning.

**** that.

Leaving today instead.

One of my friends in St. Louis will be lucky enough to have me as a house guest tonight, and they don't even know it yet! :D

Anyone ever take in a go-pro? I'd like to take one in with a chest strap or head strap, but I don't really want to bother with it being confiscated.

loochy 01-18-2019 09:48 AM

007 - BTW, I'll probably drop by. I don't know when - it depends on when I get in to the airport and if Drury gives me early check in. I'll bring cash for sure, and most likely my own bottle of liquor (probably Rumpleminze - I love that stuff). I won't mooch on your supplies - I just want to meet everyone and BS a bit.

They say video cameras are prohibited, so I'd say you'd be running a pretty big risk.

CP is fantastic! I love this place.

Rod, do you need more $$$ or anything else? I will be tailgating with my regular group at G29 when I first get there but I will definitely drop by and hang with you guys for a while. I'm just not sure exactly when that will be, gotta play it by ear.

I would love to meet some CPers and see some old faces, as well. Does anybody have an idea of what time you will be at the CP tailgate?

Plastic flasks and plastic lids on your pints are a winner as they haven't been aggressive with the pat downs this year.

Or so that's what my friends are telling me. :D

Gates open at Noon, so setup should be done by 12:30. Any time after that would be great.

I haven't been on here in a few years. Driving up tomorrow for the game. Any suggestions on successful strategies to avoid paying to park? Im going solo to the game, so no need to bring the car. Haven't been to Arrowhead in a while either, so i know a lot has changed. Uber, for one, didn't exist the last game I went to.

I wish I could've came and met up again with some of you fools. You really are a good bunch. I had promised the girl friend, months ago, that I'd go to her skijoring in Butte Mt. I never envisioned KC would make it this far in the playoffs back in September.

Have fun!!! GO CHIEFS!!!

Crossing between the snow that's in western Kansas and into the rain/snow that's popping up around Wichita.

Don't miss the weather, but can't wait to get to Arrowhead for the first time since the season opener in 2012.

Arthur Bryants on Brooklyn if you like HEAVY vinegar in your sauce

Buying 2 Bud Lights then. How are they allowed to sell Aluminum/Bottles in a stadium now. I thought these were banned for good, and replaced them with plastic cups.

You could stream it. Bring a laptop, HDMI, and TV. And somehow to plug into you vehicle.

It's on Fox, so an OTA antenna should do the trick.

Network games are rough. You'd need a streaming service that gets Fox.

But if you have that (maybe sign up for a free week of DirecTV Now or YouTubeTV), then get a power inverter (plugs into your car battery and has 6 outlets, cost about $40 or $50 at Home Depot). Plug in your smart TV or a TV and a Roku/Fire Stick, use your phone as a mobile hot spot for WiFi, and good to go.

Ive done that with Redzone a couple times and its been great.

Edit to add: an antenna would be 100 times easier, but didnt pick up anything when I tried.
