Yeah, it's downright prohibitive for me. If I hadn't have just got divorced/moved/etc

I imagine Cincinnati fan is selling all the scrap metal they can find to scoop up tickets to their first AFCCG in 33 years.

If I didn't have season tix, it would be too rich for my blood, as well. We got in on a good season ticket deal in the offseason of 2019. So glad we did that. My son and daughter in law did the same thing with seats right next to ours. They had to give up theirs the next year as they had a baby coming. Man, I'm kicking myself for not just buying theirs from them and then selling them game by game. Could have paid for all of the tickets that way.

The structure I was shown has Wild Card and Divisional at one price, and a potential AFCCG double the price of the first two games.

So $650 face value for those seats if the Chiefs release any.

My seats were $25/ea in the Pioli Era.

Man...shoulda coulda woulda kept them...

It's okay, I'll be down in New Bloomfield and I'll have to scurry to even make it back to Columbia in time.

I'll be in the house for one of these AFCCG appearances though, promise!

Yeah, think I found face value tickets for the Patriots, first few rows of the upper deck behind an end zone for $210... and Titans AFCCG, first row upper deck and better centered behind the end zone for ~$240 IIRC..... and right now the best deal in comparable seats are over $500 each, with some at $650+.

You had me curious so I just looked up my invoice for the 2018 AFC Championship game vs the Patriots. I didn't have season tix yet at that point. Paid $350 for a pair from Tickets For Less. Section 342, row 20, seats 3 & 4.

And the 6 pairs I clicked on in that area are $490/each and above right now.

I think the great weather forecast is the key. As a season ticket holder who sells some games so I can afford to go to others, I've been surprised at how many regular season games went for more this year than the first 2 playoff games. Giants, Cowboys, and Packers regular season were much easier to sell at higher prices than Pittsburgh or Buffalo playoff games.

Also comparing this upcoming game to the 2018 and 2019 AFC Championship games, it's projected to be much warmer, with low winds and sunshine. This weather really won't scare anybody off.

That's a smoking deal. Are they long time season ticket holders? Wondering if they're one of the people who have grandfathered pricing. I heard that's a thing.

I’m in section 117, have 6. My face for this game is $260. Had the account a long time.

You should consider selling two of those for $400 each. Dartgod and myself would happily pay that and keep you drinking your choice.

One guy in my group that gets two of those skipped the divisional game and is skipping the afccg. He wanted to cash out and I said no way, this is why we have them. I couldn’t take my son, his gf etc to all these playoff games any other way without dropping a small fortune. Making memories and having a blast!!!

Wow, that's a lot of tickets. Can you spare a couple?

We know how to make it right for two tips. Guaranteed!

IA_Chiefs_fan 01-29-2022 09:01 AM

Looking around TM the good seats are even more expensive now. If you're not picky on where you sit then surely some deals can be snagged tonight and tomorrow, I'd think.

Read online that stubhub was reporting that 71% of their sales on this game were from Ohio zip codes. Must be really driving the market up.

That's pretty typical. Most locals already had their tickets.

IA_Chiefs_fan 01-29-2022 10:39 AM

Edit: Sold locally for $750

One of my buddies who bought two of my tickets just tested positive for COVID. Anybody want two tickets for $600 each. Upper level end zone row 2. Section 313
He also has a red parking pass for $50.

It is upper level but row 2. It's an awesome view.
