How good is OT Taylor Moton?

He's improving but is he good enough yet?

He's good enough that the Panthers put the tag on him. He's been a solid right tackle that they think could play LT with Okung being gone.

However, under the tag, it would cost two 1st round picks to acquire him, which is steep.

Yup. Will make that offense even more difficult to defend this year for the Chiefs (assuming the O-Line holds up for Carr).

That said, don't know that they'll catch the Chiefs by surprise this year, the way they did last year . . . . .

If our D was worth anything, game 2 might have been a bit different. That certainly can't be considered a surprise for KC.

Brown is better than Agholor.

But your D sucks.

And by surprise, I was referring to the first game. The Chiefs did NOT expect Gruden to come out with the gameplan of having Carr throw deep against KC, caught KC off guard and had never seen Carr do that before. And you all had one of the best O-Lines in the league at that time. Which gave Carr time to make those throws.

Not so sure that's the case anymore . . . . . . .

JohnnyHammersticks 03-17-2021 11:19 AM

John Brown may have been better than Agholor 5 years ago, but he certainly wasn't better than Agholor last season. Not even close. I watched Brown closely last year because he was on my FF team's bench and he flat out sucked ass.

Because a quality LT is a must in today’s NFL. We’ve got shit and shinola at the position currently. I’m hoping we can pull off something, but we can’t go into the draft with no veteran LT signed. Patrick Mahomes is our franchise player, you protect that investment at all costs.

No way he takes that.

Fansy the Famous Bard 03-17-2021 04:54 PM

Prove it deal? Golladay is young and talented. He had an injury plagued year in 2020 but damn, the guy really doesn't need to "prove" anything.

Stryker 03-17-2021 05:00 PM

I mean SHIT! Veach had to have stock piled funds to try and get Silverback which back fired - why are we not being more active NOW in FA? Not getting it. We could use some form of a vet OT, CB, LB, Edge, WR? What's your thoughts?
Do you think they are going to try and move up to get a LT?

ljmhawk 03-17-2021 05:19 PM

get Galloday....he’s a stud. if JuJu isn’t acting a fool he would be a nice pick up as well.

At that price point we should be able to snag Juju for like 14-15 a year MAX.
