"I played in the game, set a record - Super Bowl champion. The game ain't decided on the field. We knew every play they were going to run." The Raiders inexplicably went back to the Gruden offense, audibles and all... "We weren't the best defense, hell the Saints beat us twice. Ran Deuce McAllister down our throats. How come the Raiders didn't use THAT game plan?" |

i wonder why all the peeps that think the nfl is rigged never manage to predict the rigged outcome of these games before the games are played.
here, i'll make it easy for ya. here's next weeks sched. just pick the winner, straight up. which team is supposed to win according to the script or is going to get the benefit of bad officiating? (all times are eastern, ya damn hillbillies.) New Orleans at Atlanta, 1 p.m. Pittsburgh at Baltimore, 1 p.m. New York Jets at Buffalo, 1 p.m. Cincinnati at Cleveland, 1 p.m. Green Bay at Detroit, 1 p.m. Tennessee at Houston, 1 p.m. Indianapolis at Jacksonville, 1 p.m. New England at Miami, 1 p.m. Chicago at Minnesota, 1 p.m. Washington at New York Giants, 1 p.m. Dallas at Philadelphia, 1 p.m. Carolina at Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. Seattle at Arizona, 4:25 p.m. Kansas City at Denver, 4:25 p.m. San Francisco at Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas, 4:25 p.m. |

If they wanted week 18 games to matter, they've succeeded. KC won't rest their starters in case TEN stumbles. Raiders/Chargers is for a wild card spot. Dallas at Philly matters somehow to someone. Rams will beat the 9ers. GB beats DET. |
I don’t think the winners are necessarily chosen in advance, but I can absolutely see why the league would have a vested interest in preventing blowouts and keeping these games close.

We stuffed them 4 straight plays from the 1. What did we get for our effort? A flag to offset their own flag and the no call false start. We were not allowed to win. 6 of thier drives were kept going from flags.

The good news is that, obviously, whomever NFL corporate and their Vegas masters wants to win, will win. For post-season/SB ratings that has to give Mahomes the advantage.
This whole season was about cashing in on "unlikely" losses, keeping most teams within a game of each other...and last second wins. The really rubbed in the fact of how stupid they think the average NFL fan is... They always sold how "parity" is great for the NFL...no...manufactured parity is a great cover story for massaging point spreads and ratings. I do give the NFL props for creating their own propaganda network...then filling it with apologists. Announcers are straight up told not to questions the officiating too deeply... This has been the worst NFL season of my lifetime...I cant take any of it serious. I enjoy the entertainment of watching KC...but really was only mad for about 30 seconds....and that anger was more about how disinterested I am with this new Vegas-NFL partnership....which is not "new"...but it being brazenly out in the open is. I was curious how this was going to play out...and now have my answer. |

I think it was 2 years ago but it was obvious the NFL sent memos to all the networks that have their games to stop shit talking officiating.
Because all those channels did a 180 on the way they covered stuff. |
Remember the Raiders game like 6 years ago where they had about 10 tries from inside the 5 to win due to flags?
Yeah this game felt like that |

Actually, I think this was my fault. I wore the same Chiefs long sleeve shirt as the last Titans game today.
My bad... |

That really was rigged. The on-call false start came at 2:10.
|
Love that big lug.

Remember back when Goodell was openly adamant about preventing sports betting...now they are ****ing are sponsored by it.

I'm usually not one to call out the refs cause I think they have a very hard job (pro football is insanely fast and so much is going on that they need to pay attention to in only a matter of seconds) but holy crap that bs call cost the Chiefs the game and shouldn't have been called. No way should the game have been decided by the refs imo. Oh well on to the next one

not a false start, and neither was Burrow's that got KC an offsides flag instead |

So they essentially replaced the Ref we were supposed to have who has the least amount of home team victories with a Ref that has the 3rd most home team victories.....
And yet to see an explanation as to why |

I can believe that individual refs will go rogue and make calls that influence various bets to benefit themselves or others. However, if you believe that the NFL rigs its games then there is no reason to continue watching or get angry about the failings of various players, because the contests are not legitimate.
|
We should start a poll for the single worst call in today’s game.
Here are a few options: Wylie hold Missed roughing the passer when Mahomes was hit in the facemask Hold negating KO Return TD Sneed DPI Fenton DPI Missed False Start (Burrow) Missed False Start (OL Goal Line) Offsetting Penalties (defensive hold not shown) Sneed Unnecessary Roughness Sneed Hands to the Face Did I miss any? |

The reality is there wasn't much Big Red could do. Except maybe pass along the suggestion to Spags that maybe double coverage on Chase would've been prudent...but the refs had an agenda at the end of the game, and it wasn't just to make it close. I don't know why...but they weren't allowing Mahomes to get the ball back. |

The same conspiracy that allowed the Patriots and Tom Brady remain Super Bowl contenders and champions for 20 some years? The same conspiracy that has NEVER allowed teams like the Lions even sniff the Super Bowl? And you call me a mouth breather. Wow. ROFL |

Had they called that false start with 2 minutes left...chances are Bengals kick the FG...giving KC the ball with 2 TOs. KC scores a TD...spread is blown...millions lost....also ensures more people will watch next week. |

I don’t believe games are fixed but I certainly believe that they are influenced by officiating. I don’t think officials are told to favor one team over another but I definitely believe that they call games a certain way, given the appropriate situation, to ensure they’re as close as possible.
For instance, today…big time game. A blowout looked to be on the horizon. Then Pringle’s return was called back. On a play that happens all the time. I don’t think that’s coincidence. A few years ago we were about to destroy Houston. This was when they were trying to hype up the Mahomes/Watson thing. We were getting ready to go up 17 or something when a PI call against Houston was mysteriously erased by a call from “upstairs.” The call was made, marked off, then changed by the hand of God with no explanation. Next thing I know we turn the ball over and Houston is right back in it. |

This one’s going to take awhile to get over. Incompetent officiating is one thing because both teams have to overcome it, but blatantly extending drives with horrible calls that benefit one team is infuriating as ****.

There are certain officiating crews that the NFL uses to rig games and others who call games straight up? I guess when we win, we got the legit crew and we pull the corrupt ones when we lose? Is that accurate? |

After that flag on the Pringle return which was tacky, late and didn't effect the play you kinda wondered. Then we get called for offsides when Burrow moves early. DPI calls for literally nothing. Horse collar that everyone watching the game live and on tv knew wasn't a horse collar. Etc., etc. The Refs simply were not going to let us beat Cinci. They were going to leave it up to Cinci to beat themselves. And when Cinci did that at the end, they still bailed them out so..... |

But what gets lost in this minutia is where the officials get their power to influence outcomes of games. We can all agree that there's a hold on every play (see, I just said it), but it's when an official decides to "let them play" vs "a hold is a hold" - that's where their power is. Subjectivity... A kissing cousin to bias... Next up, the rarely called push-off... If a WR uses his hands to create separation, that's a push off. But let's not quibble of details... In a league with an interest in games with lots of scoring, they're not going to make the offense's job any more difficult than they have to. But it is what it is, and we'll all be back next week to reassure the WWFL that they can do anything they want and we won't go away. |

Face mask on Mahomes not called
Wylie gets called for holding with a defender grabbing his face mask Tyreek gets shoved down 10 yards down field and no call Pringle TD return called back DPI on Fenton for playing defense DPI on Sneed for the WR running the wrong route and barely touching him Horse collar on Sneed that wasn't a horse collar False Start on Burrow that gets called off sides False start on Cinci goes uncalled Offsetting penalties when Cinci fails on 4th down Hands to the face when Cinci fails on 4th down again Yep, was just your average Ref crew calling a typical game ....... |
Yea...it's pretty obvious that the game is rigged and has been for a long time. I still remember watching Tamba being damn near put in a choke hold multiple times a game, but somehow never getting the flag.

Here's what I've come to learn (but I'm a young man!!!!) - WWFL officials call everything they see, but only see what they want. Think about it, it answers your question... |

They made a ton of egregiously bad calls. |

One thing I'm curious about when thinking about the obvious rigging...I can see that it's rigged, a lot of other people not in the NFL can see that it's rigged. Players have come out and said that it's rigged, so with all of that I'm sure current players, coaches, gms and owners can see that it's rigged, SO are they in on it as well? I mean Andy has been coaching 20 something years...surely he knows, so is he just "playing ball" and going along with whatever? Like how far does the rigging go, do teams/coaches know who is going to win before the game even starts?
|
Quote:

Quote:
Still doesn't equate to rigged. Again, score more than 3 points in the 2nd half and none of it matters. |
Quote:
That said, I think he's counting on the officials realizing that they owe us a few. They won't, but Coach is an optimistic person. Perhaps too optimistic.. |
