I love Sneed and I think part of the gameplan is for him to beat the shit out of these elite WR's. However I think age, concussions and the entire off season long knee injury have to be accounted for. Veach has been frugal.

In terms of LBs, can't imagine that, financially, we bring back both Tranquil and Gay next year. Losing either one of them will be a blow, both of them are very solid players. I don't envy Veach and the decisions he's going to have to make this offseason. But that's obviously a great problem to have. |

Tranquill has been outstanding all season. Bert should give him a two year extension.
|
Tranquill signing was an A+ in my estimation. Well done FO!
|
Yeah, he's a keeper at the right price.
|
Can't even imagine where we'd be without him.
|
Great signing. Dudes a solid LB and an absolute great backup
|
He's been the secret ingredient during Boltons absence, and gets some well deserved love here for it

31 other teams wish they signed this same contract
|
Let Gay go and pay Tranquill this off-season. No brainer.

Missed him badly on Sunday

Cook chewed our asses up in space in the first half. Tranquill would've made a big difference. |
Cochrane is basically Ben Neimann reincarnated.
It’s imperative that we keep him off the field in the postseason. |

All teams have guys like Jack Cochrane, a UDFA that plays specials, he's not suppose to play defense.

It’s too bad we’ve become his old team. Have the Talent but keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

The Chargers have always had very talented WRs. Usually more than one

Dude has been a complete stud.

Thought Tranquil was nails in the AFC Championship game. Was very underwhelmed by Bolton sadly. Hopefully he picks it up in the Super Bowl. This breakdown of Tranquil's performance is great and worth a watch:

I'm not sure we have had a better FA signing in Chiefs history besides Priest Holmes. This guy has been incredible all year.

If Lamar throws a TD pass to himself that's an entirely different game
Thank you Drue Tranquill |

This dude was born to be a Chief.
No way he goes anywhere this offseason. |

Gay plays more closely as a Sam because of his strength at the point of attack but we use him on the weak side a ton. But he's not a young player anymore either. He'll be 29 next season so you're really looking at maybe a 2 year deal before looking to move on. And as a slightly undersized player, he'll take a fair bit of abuse as a starter over more snaps. I'd prefer keep him in his present role to keep him healthy and effective. But if we had to start him, that works. |

Willie Roaf was a really good one too. He was a free agent signing wasn’t he? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

**** him and his entire season of business decisions, man. What looked like a guy who was at the end of the road was really just a guy who was playing tentatively because he wanted to re-set the safety market in order to extend and we wouldn't oblige him. I'd be less irritated by him if he had just sucked this season. |

It's gonna be Bolton, Chenal and the draft at LB I imagine. |
I guess I should've read the last few replies before mine. Maybe I'm off and he doesn't get paid. Would love him back on any kinda reasonable deal.

Off-ball 'backers are pretty fungible but for the right team at the right time they can be really valuable. Most teams aren't gonna pay a lot to bring one of those guys in, especially as they near their 30s. |
Thank you Druuuuu!

He's not an outlier. As I said, he's 29. He still has at least 4 solid seasons in him |
