He might have wanted to actually show up in the first six games of the tournament if he wanted to steal that one from the GOAT who dominated it the entire time.

The Lakers would be an irrelevant shell of an organization with no accomplishments for a decade now without LeBron. They won 21 and 17 games in Kobe’s final two years (when he was three and two years younger than LeBron is right now LMAO).

Let's recap LEFRAUD'S LA tenure. Not necessarily in order..no playoffs after activating playoff mode a first round exit, another year of no playoffs, A ymca title after trading for AD and getting ****ing SWEPT by the nuggets. Magic gave me 5, kobe gave me 5, we had 16 before his wack ass got there. I am supposed to be impressed?

Tomorrow is the day of the big vote in OKC. If they vote no OKC will be leaving. Likely to Vegas. OKC would be will behoved to vote yes because its the only time they will ever have an pro team but ownership group only putting up 50M of the 900M isn't much.

OKC businessmen kinda like group of Royals businessmen. They are all not real elite rich guys. No billionaires in the OKC group so they are insanely worried about pinching pennies. Conversly when you have a guy like Ballmer or Cuban they want to make money and they know they are going to make money so they wont try to jump on a nickel to make it into a quarter

Pretty sure my fandom would transfer immediately to Vegas or wherever. I'm an OKC Thunder Fan, but OKC is a bit of a shithole. OKC had better vote correctly or I wouldn't blame the team leaving.

Honestly, if that vote goes south, I'd hope KC would already have a package ready to lure the Thunder to KC. It's not like we don't already have a venue.

Lakers remain undefeated without LeBron in the lineup...

And the Spurs have now lost 18 straight and somehow I believe they don't have the longest losing streak in the league (I believe Detroit is at 20 and counting).

Very little good basketball being played in the Association right now; a pretty fair amount of truly awful ball being played to boot.

All the good basketball is in Minnesota.

The Wolves just beat the Mavs with Ant shooting something like 3-18 from the field. I wonder if performances like this might cause folks to begin altering their predictions about Minny NOT staying toward the top of the West.

I'm as big of a "Woe is us" Wolves fan as they come, but even I can tell this is a very good basketball team and not at all the intriguing but flawed team of the past couple seasons that lived in the play-in tournament.

It's not just Gobert playing better, it's not just Ant continuing his success and growth, and it's not even KAT reducing a lot of the dumb shit he used to do. It's the depth that's impressive. When Kyle Anderson is your second big off the bench, that's a versatile as **** front court. They are very weak at PG behind Conley, whose age needs to considered by the team as the season drags on, but that isn't anything they can't try to fix at the trade deadline. A nice little move might be snagging Tyus Jones on an expiring contract-- would be great solid veteran to have off the bench.

Not predicting championship or even WCF appearance at this point, but it's pretty obvious with the wins they've already racked up and what they are as a team that they have all the makings to win lots of games and get a high seed in the playoffs. You can't ask for more than that as a Wolves fan. Just getting that plus a first round series win would be a fantastic season.

Let's not kid ourselves, though. KAT has been a fairly significant part of the problem in the past. This season, he actually appears to be part of the solution. That's a BIG deal, IMO.

On a related note, KAT put up a ho-hum 40 in another win today.

Go check out what SGA and Holmgren pulled off tonight. Good luck with that in the playoffs.

I'll make you a deal.

If Minnesota and OKC face each other in the playoffs and Minnesota wins, you suck my dick.

If that doesn't happen, you get to suck my dick anyway.

Suck my dick.

I don't think I've ever seen someone here get so cocky over NBA regular season wins, especially when the team in question resembles something akin to the 2021 Utah Jazz.

I'm sure it will work out fine though. What could guys like Jokic, LeBron, and SGA possibly do in the postseason?

When the Thunder unload Giddey + draft picks for Lauri Markannen and then one back up rebounding girthy center they will be the best team in the West if they aren't already.

Didn't catch it. I was at a nephew's bar mitzvah.

You ever do that? Like... any sport? How about baseball? Maybe even during an important playoff series instead of just a measly regular season game in which your favorite team already won the first matchup?
