I'm cool with the 12 hour clock, but the separate draft thing isn't a good idea IMO (of course neither was the non-randomizing the rookie draft, but that's another story)

The rookie draft needs to be randomized.

Why? I think it is fair to do it opposite draft order as the teams at the bottom of the draft are at a disadvantage in this draft.

it's already been randomized, this kind of corrects for the randomization to raise overall equality

it's kind of the same thing as making it serpentine, just on another level

How do you figure? Look at the top five picks compared to the bottom five of the first round. You don't think that Manning, Ryan or Brady would be worth MUCH more than Roethlisberger, Cassel, Rivers, etc??
