Volquez didn't hit Donaldson for Moose. There were other reasons far and above Moose getting hit in the knee. Also, the guy got hit on a gigantic elbow pad. What exactly does he have to cry about? A guy is dominating you in a series because he is comfortable at the plate then you come inside. If coming inside means tailing in a fastball then so be it. At some point, you have to make the guy uncomfortable at the plate. I would love for the Royals to play these guys again in the playoffs, but I don't think we see them again this year.

Actually we've had a pretty good group of regulars in here the last few years - you are a bit misinformed - the Royals have always had a decent core of baseball fans on CP.

Royals fans may be front runners, asleep at the wheel, more accurately we may have been completely apathetic. We might have just plain sucked shit. But we've always agreed that cards fans are total one who sucks the peniss. That will never change. Build a thousand bridges and you're a bridge builder, but suck one cock and you're forever a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
