The Royals starting pitching has been poor. Zobrist and Cueto have been disappointing. They went 10-17 in September.

That's who they are, not the team pre-mid August.

The trick is to treat it like what it is, entertainment.... cold turkey for a little while definitely helps.

Nah, you just bring the TV outside, sit in the pool and drink. It's more relaxing to be doing that while watching losing. I'd be doing it anyway so why not watch some sports. :D

So our season is up to a guy who has basically been a collosal bust for us. Then we have to win a game in a place I don't believe we've won in for at least the past 2 seasons. One of those games is against a guy who loses at home about as often as Aaron Rodgers. So, yeah, sorry I'm not super optimistic. Nobody will be happier about it than I, if you guys get to shove this up my ass later. Well, figuratively speaking.

BTW, Zobrist was much better as a Royal than an A. Players have ups and downs. Baseball isn't like other sports.
