I've constantly expressed my desire to **** Scarlett Johansson for the last decade. Doesn't mean it's going to happen...

He better be gone. There should be a city wide anti Chief revolt if he isn't.

I really think Alex retires. You know how people always say I hope he comes back as QB coach? Alex is that guy that actually does it. He's that ****ing lame.

Yes to retirement.. LOL to a coaching job.

Dude better not waste that brilliant mind on more block-head football. :harumph:

If he retires, he's even more of a chickenshit than I think he is already.

Pass up another $50 million in earnings (including $20 million guaranteed) and a chance to prove your critics wrong?

I don't think he passes up another 80 million in earnings, even if he gets sent to Cleveland.

Alex is just about the last person I'd ever hire as a QB coach if I ran a team. The cowardly way he plays is bad enough, no need to let him ruin other quarterbacks with his game-managing bullshit. He's the textbook example of how not to play the position.

Why would he retire coming off his best season ever??? Its NOT like he won the Super Bowl or something.

After his first 100 million dollars, he may elect to consider other things.

1. Had multiple concussions, and two shoulder surgeries. Do I want to keep playing and risk not knowing who my wife and kids are in 10 years?

2. If no other time before this (yeah right), I showed this year that I belong among the top QBs. Do I really want to start all over yet again with some other team?

3. I'll be 34 years old. I have played a lot of football. Body's tired. Maybe it's time to focus more on what really matters. Family, pure comfort, my Youth Foundation, my golf swing, and rolling around in my millions!

or should I go to some less fortunate team like Cleveland or Arizona? and grind out a few more years of work? risking CTE... or paralysis?

TOUGH CALL? what say you????

Arizona would be a good place for him. They could bounce back with solid QB play.

You really, really seem to want him to retire and I can't say I totally understand why as a guy who just likes watching Alex play.

Explained this before. I like to see good people win.

A win for Smith at this point is to run laughing to the bank, and cash out. Not to keep playing, and risking injuries that could potentially be devastating to the good guy escaping unscathed.

I am also not a proponent for greed. Make your money... plenty enough to live your remaining years out in comfort... and then enjoy it while you can.

A job is just a job. It doesn't have to define you. Do what you must. Cash out. Enjoy.

That's a life-win, imho. :)
