Perhaps. I still say Derrick Alexander was one of the most purely talented WRs the Chiefs have had in the past 30 years. Unfortunatley, he Mostly only put up garbage stats and his head never seemed 100% in the game.

Marshall and Bowe are not comparable.

Marshall basically quit two teams and still got 2 3rd rounders as trade compensation his second time getting traded...his first time he was traded for 2 second rounders and thats the equivalent of a 1st.

Bowe has been consistent and has also shown top end upside without the off field drama problems and reportedly has 4 teams with LEGIT needs in the bidding for him in a trade.

Marshall is a piece of shit, with multiple arrests for beating up women, DUI, assault on a police officer, theft, etc. He shouldn't have brought anything in a trade, to be honest.

Exactly...but when a contender is willing to swing a trade to get them over the hump, the price almost always goes up.

If the 4 teams reported truly are all trying to swing a trade, I think a first and change is likely.

The key is the amount of teams in the conversation.

A 1st and a 3rd would be ideal, but I'd take 2 2nd's yesterday.

The only hail mary I see with Bowe being a Chief past 2013 is if we clean house this summer and bring in a GM that will pay him and give him a viable QB.

I can absolutely guarantee that no team is giving up a number one for Bowe, especially since he'll be a free agent (again) in March.

In their entire history, the Chiefs have only had a handful of high quality wideouts. That makes it all the more difficult to think about losing Bowe for some stupid reason.

Anyhow, since Mr. KcMizzou sneers at Joe Horn, how would you guys rank our best receivers? There have only been a few. Top to bottom. Top being the goodest and bottom being the bottomest?
