Carson tore 75% of his UCL, was told by doctors that he needed Tommy John surgery but refused, and said he couldn’t get it to receivers that were 10 yards from him. The pass would start to go and just fell out of the sky. Allen has a minor sprain and threw a 70 yard pass. Not even remotely similar in any way to Palmer.

Thanks on the correction. However, we don't really know whether it's the same thing or not. Do we? The Bills are being very circumspect on what they're saying. Maybe it's not the same thing and Allen will be just fine, but we sure as hell don't KNOW anything of the sort.

If this was Mahomes, I wouldn't want him to start. No reason to risk it for a home playoff game. Prefer a fully healthy Mahomes on the road as compared to throwing ducks every once in a while in week 9 and then not being fully healed by the playoffs.

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be playing today if it was 75% torn and needed Tommy John surgery. Carson was an idiot and he admitted as much and said we’ve learned a lot on the medical side in the last 15 years.

He's starting.

Carson thought he could play. NFL players want to play. Players like Allen who have their team in a hot competition for playoff seeding want to play if they are capable and will play with pain and play through injuries.

None of us KNOWS what is wrong with Allen. None of us. We saw him hurt his elbow and we saw him dealing with pain. So, we think we know that he's hurt, but unless you're a doctor and you have personally examined Allen, I don't think your medical opinion carries any weight at all here.

Jets are a decent team this year. And I think Minnesota is a little overrated. Add to that Cousins seems to always choke in big games. Last week was at Jets. This week is a home game for the Bills. Add up all of those factors and yeah, I can see his reasoning. I wouldn't predict a beat down, though. And if all of those injuries are that serious, they could. play a major factor, and then I could even see the Bills losing this one.

Perhaps... The Chargers seem to be running more towards the ER than the playoffs. If they lose against the 49ers, that will put them 2.5 down after the Chiefs win today.

Yeah, I don't think the Chargers are taking the division from the Chiefs. But he was asking about the 7 playoff teams from the AfC. They might be able to steal one of those by the time it's all said and done.

no matter what you guys say, the fact that you are this infatuated with whether or not Josh Allen is totally fine or his arm is going to have to be amputated speaks volumes about who you fear in the play-offs.

You’re right probably right. His ligament is probably barely hanging onto the bone and they’re trotting him out there.

True and the Bill's fan is so NOT WORRIED about KC that he's constantly here (on our 'KCs) board trying to defend his team.

No QB puts more strain on their arm due to throwing QB mechanics than Allen. If it pops he's out 2 years.
