Chiefs will get #1 seed.

Chiefs will lose to either cincy/buffalo in the divisional on a special teams **** up.

Cincy vs Bills will have their rematch in the AFC Championship and the media will jizz all over themselves about it…

Can't happen if the Bengals and Bills are the 2 and 3 seed...that game will be in the Divisonal round, with the winner hopefully headed to KC.

That's true. The Ravens would need to win the North for this to happen.

If we get the 1 seed, we wouldn’t play Buffalo or Cincy in the divisional round. The lowest seeded team we would play would be the 4 seed(Jax or Tenn). Cincy and Buffalo would play each other in the divisional round if they were to win in the wild card rounds.

No, it's really not.

The Bengals and Bills would play each other in the divisional round.

Chiefs with Mahomes at QB do not need HFA to win postseason games. It might be an advantage for the defense to play on the road in postseason so that they could communicate with verbals.

It is nuts that Mahomes has never played a road playoff game since the years they are not the #1 seed has seen the #1 lose in the Divisional.

Now that the 2022 #1 seed is attainable, I want Chiefs to earn it, but I look forward to the time that Chiefs with Mahomes at QB plays on the road in postseason whenever that happens.

Even if the Bills concede, they are still in play for the 1 and 2 seed, it's just now dependent on the Chiefs and Bengals losing their last game.

If KC was in the position the Bills after in, I wouldn't want the game played and just take the L. No matter what they are hosting at least one game still and probably get another chance against the same team in a few weeks. Benefit from the fact they just saved themselves 3 and a half quarters of wear with potential for more injuries entering into the playoffs and take the time to get right mentally.

Trying to figure out how to make up the game is going to mess up routine and preparation for the more important ones ahead. Having no oline was the primary problem, but I don't doubt the drunk driving incident by Reid's kid right before the Superbowl affected the team's mental state (at minimum the coaches') in some fashion as well. Use the next week and a half to rally together and refocus so you can salvage something positive out of this tragedy.

That's a great point about Britt (or Brett or whatever his name is) Reid, that I haven't seen mentioned yet. The consensus is that clearly had an effect on the Chiefs in the game and that kind of pales in comparison to the trauma the players on the field witnessed in terms of immediate fear and emotion.

forfeiting the game and just moving on is probably what's best for them. yes we benefit from it, but i don't see how pushing things back and trying to fit in this game helps them mentally at this point.

Belcher offing himself on the team's facility the day before a game wasn't enough to justify postponement or canceling.

This and the Redskins playing a game like 5 days after Sean Taylor was killed.

The Bengals played a game 2 days after Chris Henry was killed.

But Buffalo expects the entire league to stop for their indefinite bereavement leave?

Nope. Not happening.

When did Buffalo announce that they expect this? Or are you triggered and now finding fake demons on the twittersphere to battle?

Benjamin Allbright said on the radio that the NFL, as of now, is planning on not playing the Bills/Bengals game and will label it as “No Contest.” They’ll then use a random number generator to pick a random game on the Chiefs' schedule, whatever game the random number generator lands on will be listed as “No Contest” and they’ll determine the seeding based on that.
