Vick has 7 turnovers in 25 minutes of game action. Remember when I was told things were going to be different this year back in November?

This is the worst KU team since that Wiggins year. Probably worse than that year as well because Embiid got injured.
|
Welp, I guess I'll go back to watching the Colts fist Houston. Less painful than watching this team right now.

We are missing two key players, but no excuses for that beatdown.

So If not Kansas...WHO is the team to beat in the B12.
This is the most even I have seen the league in a while. Everyone sucks. |

There are just too many problems with this KU team to expect much from them. Its offense is almost completely reliant on Dedric Lawson scoring or creating shots for others (all credit to Dotson for what he's done this year but he can't carry an offense) and even that goes away when Udoka is on the floor. It would be nice to be able to just completely bench Vick, but who does Self have to replace him? Charlie Moore? Not a lot of options this year. |
WTF are we still turning the ball over so much? Self usually has the team playing as a team by conference time.
One positive was Grimes showing some life for at least part of the game. Certainly seems like we will need him to play like a one and done player this year. |
You guys should be pissed off. I perceive that your five-star players have typically been overrated throughout the years. You got one year out of Wiggins, but Duke or Kentucky get a Wiggins every year. Coach K and Calipari probably know that Self's five-star recruits aren't as good.
Some of your five-star players can't even stay eligible for reasons that have to drive you crazy. Something has been wrong there for a while. For crying out loud, your team can't shoot for whatever reason. You're Kansas! You should always have shooting. |
