Alex Smith is completing 58 percent of his passes this year. His career completion percentage is 59 percent.

Brady is completing 58 percent of his passes this year. His career completion percentage is 63 percent.

Alex Smith's accuracy the past two years in San Francisco is an extreme outlier for the rest of his career.

Many of the Smith critics expressed doubt that his impressive accuracy numbers from 2011 and 2012 would hold up when asked to throw far more often. So far, that has been the case.

Now we go back to CAREER %? That's deliberately obtuse. What's Alex's % over the last 3 years? That is what is relevant... and you ****ing know it. You can't weasel your way out of that point. Nice try though.
