Of course, that's just a spot price.

Crude consumption was down a stunning 7% this year (compared to last year) during the four-week period that ended September 26.

Alot of that is based on the slow down of economic growth if I am correct. If this doesn't prove a recession is in bloom then nothing will.

3.49 in Sunny Kahleefourkneeyah.

I would say that high gasoline prices are a contributing factor, too.

We need to get chiefs4me outta hiding to get you fired up a bit. Your responses are not as energetic as usual, IMHO.

I think you have me confused with someone else.

Gas has broken the $3/gallon barrier in Springpatch. $2.99 at several pumps this afternoon.

Frazod 10-02-2008 12:19 PM

Cheapest in the Chicago area - $3.65
Most expensive - STILL $4.47 (select BP and Shell stations in Chicago) :shake:

It's still about $3.75 where I live, although it has fallen $0.60 since the hurricane.

Still, that's brutal.

Donger 10-02-2008 12:22 PM

With a demand drop like that, expect OPEC to reduce production.

Iowanian 10-02-2008 12:27 PM

DRILL DRILL DRILL....Screw Opec.

DRILL DRILL DRILL...I don't care how many baby seals we kill
DRILL DRILL DRILL....more gas at the station for my car to be filled
DRILL DRILL DRILL...less cash spent on gas, more money for ass
DRILL DRILL DRILL
