As you might expect, Manning's winning % outdoors drops each month: Sept 70%, Oct 68%, Nov 65.5%, Dec/Jan 56.5% http://es.pn/z7Axdj

While this is true, keep in mind that the Colts have always built their teams to be dome teams, and dome teams typical struggle the colder it is. The Chiefs are built to handle the elements...and Peyton has had no trouble winning in Arrowhead in cold weather, he has done it before in Jan.

i remember Nnamdi Asomugha was a sure fire to the Jets then midnight hit and the ****ing entire city of Philadelphia was sitting there for the cockblock

He will play 8 in Miami and atleast three in the upper east coast area, likely late in the year.

Seriously, you're a ****ing buzzkill...

It's more likely a symptom of the team than Manning himself.

:BS: stat. The colts freaking sit their starters in the end of Dec/Jan. I would also like to see a stat on any other franchise QB in similar comparison. I believe that you'd see very similar results. :shake:

It was like 50 or 60 degrees the time he won @ Arrowhead in the playoffs.

I say so, too. He won the Super Bowl in a heavy down pour. He can handle the elements.

Plus, every offense got a warm feeling going against Gregg Robinson.

Yep. You have to be able to handle the elements to be so successful for such a long long time in the NFL.

not get all bosschief on you, but how do we know he can throw in cold weather?

his balls might just fall to the ground like dead ducks

Carlota69 03-08-2012 03:46 PM

Ok, all this talk about weather, he would play 8 games in KC, half of which are reasonable weather wise? Then another 3 on the west coast. So thats at least 7 games in decent weather..plus Im sure the Chiefs play in a dome or two each year...

I found the weather angle sell for peyton;-)

It was. During the one punt game it was supposed to be cold and it ended up being like 55 degrees that day. Should have known it was a sign kc was gonna lose :(

Same as Matt Cassel in any weather.
