Smith's "success" is yet to be seen. And one thing you had better get in to your head is that his ceiling for success does not include hoisting a Lombardi in a Chiefs uniform.

I disagree. You have NO way of knowing that. The facts are that he was OT away from the SB with the 49ers, and he won more regular season games last year than Keap, making him a big part of their getting to the SB.

Why do people bring up Andrew Luck like he's available every draft? Dude was a once in a decade QB prospect. The Andrew Luck before him was Peyton Manning. The Andrew Luck before that was Elway.

Kaepernick had thrown plenty of passes by the time Alex Smith was benched.

When they're the best option, I have no problem with retreads. Right now, it seems like Alex Smith was the best option.
