They did beat the 2008 KU team, though, which is arguably one of the better NCAA teams of all time.

Stillwater Magic!

Wait, who do we want to win this?

Or does it not really matter?

Shouldn't be too hard to decipher there.

OSU (and not just because they're a shell of a team these days). If ISU wins, they're back in the conference race.

Reerun_KC 02-03-2014 09:59 PM

Well we still have a month to go before we play them in Stillwater. Lots can happen by then.

DJJasonp 02-03-2014 10:01 PM

ISU's remaining schedule seems to be a bit more manageable than OSU's.

As much as it pains me to root for that bitch-flopper (and for that matter, seems others on the team have joined the flopping fun - maybe it's coached at OSU?).......we probably rather have OSU win this game.

@tyshawntaylor: Big12 real good this year ...but everybody that follows the big 12 kno what y'all gotta do to win it -- and my guys ain't haven't it #KU --

TLO 02-03-2014 10:03 PM

Meh. I prefer the way Sherron and even Rio willed their teams to victory. Flopping like a bitch is one way to show incredible competitiveness, but as a fan, I would not enjoy it and, honestly, would rather not experience it.

Not taking anything away from Marcus Smart, but dude dives more than CR7 circa 2008.

He's no Smart, but Chalmers flopped for KU and he does it often in the NBA for the Heat. Just part of the game. When you recognize that, I think it becomes easier to deal with it.

Beyond his flopping, Smart will do absolutely anything he can to get his team to win. He has my respect for that.

Chalmers took charges, but he never ran into a player on purpose just so he could throw himself down to draw a foul.

i dont really recall Chalmers doing much of that in college. do acknowledge that he does it in the NBA though.

Jacque Vaughn was really good at drawing fouls.......but I think it was different. He was really good at baiting and drawing fouls.

I think there's a difference between that and faking that you've been elbowed, etc. etc.

I'm not denying Smart is a really good player. But he's good enough that he doesnt need to flop.

LOL

****ing Forte.
