Better be one heck of a “personal reason” not to practice the week of a playoff game and after a bye week...

I actually think that Sammy Watkins is the under the radar guy this week. Texans will be in cover 2 and dime all day trying to defend deep.
Kelce and Sammy will eat in the middle of the field |

We're the only team from the divisional round last year to make it to this year. ****ing nuts.

I watched our last few games on Game pass and I think one of the biggest things that holds Sammy back is unless he’s the 1st read, he just isn’t getting targeted.
The vast majority of plays you have Mahomes hitting Kelce or Hill within his first 2 reads, throwing a screen pass, or getting it out quick in the flats to a RB. There just isn’t much pie to go around for a guy like Watkins. That said, if you’re getting a lot of 2-high coverage Sunday, I’d look his way often because they don’t have a corner who can cover him consistently and win in contested situations. It’d be nice to scare BAL/TENN with Watkins this week so they might think twice about doubling Hill all the time.. |

But he's come up with some big time catches for first downs, receptions that have made 3rd down more manageable, and at least one 2-point conversion, throughout the season. Albeit he has had some inexplicable drops as well. And his overall target/catch ratio hasn't been great, IIRC, something like 60%. |

That or he’s going to roast corners in single coverage |
