some good news would change everything for sure

how long was he laying there before they started doing CPR? It had to be a few minutes

It would have taken some time to get his pads off to use a defibrillator or to administer CPR, even cutting them.

You’re right.

Giving both teams a win hurts the Chiefs.

Giving both teams a tie hurts both teams.

Giving the Bills a forfeit loss hurts the Bills

There is no good way out of this. All bad options.

Man, that's so messed up. I'll never forget watching that event. Even though home viewers didn't see it, I can still hear Ross' announcement like it was yesterday.

Not postponing the game is really exposing the NFL for the greedy cesspool it is.

We know the owners see their players as little more than property, but this is really putting it out in the open for everyone to see.

Not an ounce of humanity in any of those billionaire ghouls.

Definitely need to postpone this game until tomorrow. Do the right thing Goodell

What does tomorrow make any difference?

You either call it a tie and that's it or a team forfeits.

Other options would be post pone the entire league a week.

Anything else like playing tomorrow or Wednesday doesn't work because then they have to play again Sunday. If you push those you push them all and your at option above.

Pushing until tomorrow is just insulting to me, "oh tomorrow it won't matter as much"

PPD the game game tonight, Roger, you ****ing money-hungry asshole. Nobody in either locker room cares to play tonight.

I don’t know, if word comes in that he’s going to be hospitalized but is stable, maybe they could continue. Doesn’t seem likely but if it were good news you could see them resuming.

Maybe find someone, anyone, that would be more qualified to speak / commentate during a situation like this. This is waaaaay outside their wheelhouse.

I guess, but since nobody knows anything, any "expert" would just be speculating and NOBODY wants to do that on live TV in a situation like this.

ESPN should run some "Jacked Up" segment highlights from years past

ChiefsFanatic 01-02-2023 08:50 PM

Maybe they are waiting for the players to make a decision? Like, do representatives from the NFLPA have to be involved if they determine the game can't be replayed this late in the season?

Like, are home/away playoff shares different, are bonuses and incentives affected by a cancelation, etc?

So terrible. 24 years old. I don't even know what to say other than I'm praying for him.

And those pads don’t come off easy. At least the ones I played with at a lesser level. Very tight.
