You know this is really really shitty if Cincy decided not to play that game assuming the NFL would you know, follow the existing rule.

The NFL royally ****ed this up, which is no surprise to anyone.

- Team owner suffers a medical issue (assumed to be a stroke but they’re not saying)
- City of Buffalo has a mass shooting
- Bills suffer countless injuries during the season including Von Miller ACL
- Bills player dies on the field and needs to be revived
- Bills announcer suffers a stroke
- Bills lose 1st seed to due player dying on the field and being revived

None of that is important right now. You should be focused on Damar's health.

I personally think the NFL and media is going to send loads into orbit over a neutral site game.

The buildup and talk about it will be ridiculous.

If they put in anywhere on the East Coast, that's just an obvious admission they are actively trying to hand the Bills the conference.

As if that isn't already crystal clear, this would put the icing on the cake.

Money spent on tickets to the Bills game can be applied to the Bills/Chiefs AFCCG, which is also fairly central to both teams!

One thing I like about Burrow is he just doesn't play the game at all in his press conferences.

He talked about how he didn't like actually playing football in the Super Bowl, specifically how corporate it all felt.

Doing the same to the CCG's will undoubtably make those feel like a corporate luncheon at the Ramada in a similar way.

I was just thinking about this. The owners are probably drooling at the thought of an AFC Championship game between the Bills and Chiefs on a neutral field. The press leading up to it will be ridiculous.

Think about it, they'll basically get two Super Bowls. I think most fans realize the AFC is the far superior conference, and realistically the winner there is probably winning it all. So now you get Super Bowl Lite and Super Bowl Genuine Draft.

Unbelievable.

I haven’t seen any evidence that the Bills asked for this rule change.

If they did, shame on them, but I haven’t seen anything at all.

Even if not, they still forced the situation by refusing to resume their game with Cincy.

Sure does.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned about the neutral site if we play the Bills because I think the Bengals will beat them first. Based on the way things were looking in their matchup, the Bengals were going to put up a lot of points against them. I think they'll do just fine in Buffalo as well.

I'd prefer the game be at Arrowhead. But, I'm not so sure I wouldn't rather play Buffalo than the Bengals right now.

Prepare for it and just accept it now guys. This is absolutely happening. I’d put my mortgage on the NFL doing this. They’ll watch the ratings, excitement etc on this once it happens and will move to make it permanent. This vote will have consequences

Sorry everyone, I said aloud for Monday night's game I wanted the comet of doom to hit. Fate gave me the best it could... I'll take the blame for this, my bad...

I hope Belichick unleashes holy hell on these shit stains.

So winning % not so great for some...

Quote:

In what scenario would the home team in a Bengals-Ravens playoff game be determined by a coin flip?

The Baltimore Ravens defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18 + the Ravens end up as the No. 6 seed.

In this scenario, the Bengals, as the AFC North champions, would hold the No. 3 seed and would be scheduled to face the 6th-seeded Ravens during Super Wild Card Weekend. The Ravens will have beaten the Bengals twice, but will still have a lower winning percentage because the Bengals will have played 16 games while the Ravens have played 17. To try to solve for that inequity, a coin flip would determine which team has home-field advantage.

In the event the Ravens win the coin toss and host the Bengals, Cincinnati would still be the No. 3 seed and the Ravens the No. 6 seed.

The Ravens only end up as the No. 6 seed in this scenario if the Chargers (10-6) also beat the Broncos in Week 18 (the Chargers would be the No. 5 seed). A Ravens win and a Chargers loss would move Baltimore up to the No. 5 seed.
So as I have stated, the Bengals are benefiting by only playing 16 games and a team that has to play more would lose because they had to play 1 more game. Had Cinci lost Monday night and Baltimore beats them this weekend, Baltimore would have won the division but since the NFL got involved, Cinci is crowned the division winner and handed the #3 seed outright.
