So if you haven't been to Santisi's before there's a north door and a south door.

The North door may be the only door unlocked at 9am. Once inside, to your left is bar 1. The short bar just to the right is bar 2. Talls are nearest the bars. I like tables near bar 1, because it gets crowded around the buffet near bar 2. I'm not a fan of people bumping into me all day.

It's seat yourself.

Got an out of town friend in town who doesn't like football and didn't much care for my idea of getting up and going to watch the game tomorrow at a bar. I'll probably just sneak out and watch it at Arcadia Tavern or something.

tIf this is where we are going, I'll be there at 9:00.

Caveat: If fan4ever doesn't want to come that far, I'm opting to join him in Scottsdale as this is his invitation. Most likely Scho as well.

No worries, just let me know if that happens. If no one's going to be at Tisi's in the morning, I don't have to worry about getting there early and snagging a table.

I'm flexible on location with several caveats: I'm not standing for 4 hours and don't want to go to a place super loud or where occasional fights break out.

Week one is going to be crowed and loud regardless I think.

No way! Last time he gave me his address it was to a vacant lot in Glendale and I nearly got carjacked. o:-)

Let's make sure whatever place we select ,especially if it's Scottsdale that the place is open BEFORE 10 am as most regular places like Fate's don't open until 11 or 11:30

Sorry I was AWOL...I'm up for where ever...I don't mind driving but if the eDave and Scho63 want to stay local I'm down...I'll check back in a half an hour or so...

If the we all drive 20-25 miles out to Santisi's for the first time ever for both the bar AND meeting Megatron, we need to make sure he is confirmed to go. I'm good with that.
If not somewhere back on this side of town but we better decide quickly.

If we want to stay in Scottsdale there's a place called "The Tavern"...not the "Tavern" on Scottsdale Road and Double Tree that Scho63 know about...it used to be called "Teakwoods". They open early...they are located at 8880 E Vía Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258...Good food...usually drink specials...but like I said...wherever. There's also a place called "the Backyard" on Via De Ventura just west of the 101...outdoor seating...but an Eagles bar but still accommodating.

I'll leave the choice this time to you guys: Tavern in Scottsdale or Santisi's in Phoenix.
