Seems like intermediate passing plays to WR's in general (even including Tyreek) are not being utilized enough in this year's offense. Especially if opposing defenses are taking away the deep passing game, get the ball more consistently to Tyreek, Hardman, Watkins, etc. on short passes in open space. |
Local Houston media is talking all kinds of noise saying the Chiefs dont respect the Texans and they're looking past them. They're playing the "No Respect" card pretty hard. Bill Maas was on Sports Talk 610am this afternoon, and the local guys were trying to bait him into saying as much. He didn't bite. He said maybe they (National Media & Houston Media) feel that way, but the players know they have a tough opponent coming to town Sunday and will have to play their best to win. He picked the CHIEFS to win, but said it will be hard earned. Said out of the players who missed last game that Chris Jones would have the biggest impact.

This. The Chiefs have gone undefeated since the Titans game, and in every "tarp game" (int. CP misspelling) the Chiefs have dominated. The Chiefs aren't looking past anyone. Something I've talked about in other threads over the last month, so i won't go into it again here, but bottom line, they are not that kind of team anymore. |

The prescription is NOT more cowbell baby! It’s more Chris Jones! |
Ed Bouchette (Stealers beat writer for Pitt Post-Gazette) was on 93.7 The Fan today. He picked the Chiefs without hesitation. Said the Texans should've lost their last game and couldn't beat KC, with a conviction and certitude that surprised me coming from such a straight-shooter. Made the rest of the work day go better!

Texans radio guys were quivering in fear over Hardman and Hill about 30 minutes ago on 610.
We're going to smoke these clowns. |
