They are top 5 in almost all statistical categories, offense AND defense.

They're a really, really good team.

His opinion on the Bills change daily too.

ALL of these different thoughts on the Bills came within a 10 day span.

not great for the bills

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Bills said they are still evaluating S Jordan Poyer’s injury. they are vulnerable without poyer - if he's hurt as bad as i think he is, game changer

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">As soon as Poyer is out, big TD down the middle. <br>Hard to really describe how important Poyer &amp; Hyde are to this team.</p>&mdash; Louie Del Rio (@LouieDelRio4) <a href="https://twitter.com/LouieDelRio4/status/1586916224331616258?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 31, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

4. Another Poyer injury could reshape the deadline

The Bills were excellent defensively for most of the game, and there is some correlation between the Packers’ passing success and when starting safety Jordan Poyer left the game due to injury. The situation and called coverages in more of a preventative scenario helped the Packers, but they felt Poyer’s loss. Regardless of this game, it’s hard not to think about Poyer’s 2022 season in its entirety concerning injuries. In his age-31 season and a contract year, Poyer has found himself on the injury report far more often than he did in his first five seasons in Buffalo. This most recent injury, an elbow designation, is now the fourth injury since August that has caused Poyer to miss time.

Injury Update: S Jordan Poyer is out for the game (elbow).

— Buffalo Bills PR (@BuffaloBillsPR) October 31, 2022

First it was an elbow injury in training camp that kept him out of weeks of practice, but he was able to return in time for the start of the season. From there, a foot injury in Week 2 kept Poyer out of the Bills’ game against the Dolphins. Then a ribs injury against the Ravens not only forced him to miss the following week against the Steelers, but his condition prevented him from flying and forced him to drive to Kansas City to play in the game. Poyer enjoyed a full week off the injury report, but his newest elbow injury forced him to miss several drives to end the game. Four different injuries in three months. Players tend to become more injury prone as they get older, and whether all these injuries are just a coincidence or a sign of things to come, the Bills need to take this as a warning sign.

With the NFL trade deadline coming up on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, the Bills have mostly been linked with potentially game-changing offensive skill players. But given Poyer’s injury concerns and only having two natural safeties on the roster besides him, the Bills might need to make trading for a versatile safety a priority this week. The player would ideally have ample starting experience because without Poyer available, the Bills are one injury away from usual nickel corner Cam Lewis being a full-time safety. That could be a potentially volatile scenario. General manager Brandon Beane will need to get an early read on Poyer’s injury, but even if the veteran safety is good to play next week, this recent reminder might be enough to make a move.

poyer's done for awhile i'd bet

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The experienced Dean Marlowe returns to a familiar place with familiar guys. The Bills are good, but some people out there wanna act like they're the 85 Bears reincarnate.

They're beatable people. Miami beat them. Ravens should have beat them. KC could have beat them.

And, again, until they prove they can win big in the playoffs . . . . . . . . meh to the 'mighty' Bills.

'85 Bears defense + 2018 Chiefs offense

And the very predictable conclusion to this thread IF the Bills beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, even if it's by a FG in OT, and then win the SB, will be "gUeSs ThEy WeReN't OvErHyPeD derrrrp!!!"
