Patriots still mulling whether to sign Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet. So far, no decision made and no offer sheet signed.

The picture of the BBQ sign? The picture without Sean Smith in it?

Fair enough.

While I can't get the info on who visited Wednesday night, I was told it wasn't Sean Smith. Smith didn't arrive to KC until yesterday.

Mother****erJones 03-16-2013 07:54 AM

Ya his agent posted a photo of where they had lunch wed

So no Dansby in town. I got a sneaking suspicion is Osi. As crazy as it sounds he's a flashy name and Tamba wants him in KC

No sense to keep it quiet over a no name player.

I'm suspecting it was Schwartz.

What's the point in lying about it?

O.city 03-16-2013 09:12 AM

Iirc they said it was a defensive player?

SOC said the guy in KC was Sean Smith. He also said they were working out a trade with Minnesota for Cassel. The next day, Sean Smith signs and Cassel gets cut and immediately signs with Minnesota. I think they might have been onto something.

No offense to SOC, but I'll believe the guy's agent before I believe them. And cutting Cassel to sign Smith was an obvious move. Only way they'd have enough cap room to sign him.
