Getting Kittle in the late fourth is a HUGE STEAL in any draft.

He's only given up 1 QB pressure in pass pro in the last 2 seasons COMBINED, is the nations 2nd best run blocking TE and ran a 4.52 40 at the combine at his size is very special. Really good hands. Very versatile.

KC having Logan and Howard only signed for next year and needing to earmark $ for Peters, Jones, Ford and others makes picks like this very important.

Also, one of my 3 standouts from TC was Ross Travis (my 3 standouts were Ross, Chris Jones and Tyreek Hill) so part of me is hoping he earns a bigger role with Harris having legal trouble.

They just signed Gavin Escobar so Travis may have trouble making the roster. He's essentially the same guy, but more raw.

Funny you mention that. My top two for the Cowboys pick was Kittle then Vanderdoes. We were on the same page!

Green Bay Selects: Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU

Can someone please PM the next person for me?

RealSNR 03-31-2017 04:00 PM

I got it. Don't PM me. I'll pick in a second

The late 4th round might be a tad high, but I do loves me some WRs who excel in the 3-cone. This guy had the top number this year of 6.57. Could be a really effective weapon in short crosses as a 3rd/4th option especially since the Steelers lost Wheaton and some other guys in their immediate depth.

Pittsburgh selects Taywan Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky

Cleveland is dismayed to see Taylor off the board. We had him projected to be our Super Bowl MVP in 2019 or 2020.

Both guys are of great value.

Iowa homer here, but Kittle is a steal for the Cowboys. Some injury concen, but he's a complete TE, great hands, good blocker. Under utilized at Iowa IMO.

Hoover 03-31-2017 06:46 PM

Was targeting Kittle here, Fat Scott loves Iowa boys.

Still, I think there is value here at the TE position.

With the 136th pick in the NFL draft, the Falcons select, Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson

staylor26 03-31-2017 06:49 PM

I hope those TE's last this long in the real draft. Definitely possible with all the depth at the position and the draft in general.

DOUBTFUL

Great defensive players in this draft, but we are probably all a little heavy on them.

CleveSteve 03-31-2017 07:12 PM

Leggett is terrific. Worth going 40 picks earlier IMO.

I was praying he was gonna last till KCs next pick.

Awesome value.

Just eyeing the first round here, it looks like the really elite players should run out by about pick 14, for the most part l.

I'm all about the chiefs getting a qbotf, but if the qbs go early and push some good players down, that'd be tits

BossChief 03-31-2017 07:29 PM

I'm actually way more excited to see what Dorsey comes up with in this draft after seeing this mock play out like it has.

I knew this draft was deep, but god damn.

This is just ridiculous.

Kittle would be a second rounder -maybe even a late first- in most drafts.

The guy lasted till the end of the fourth...
