The Chiefs have received one compensatory pick - a sixth, 209th overall - in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Here’s some good news ROFL

Is this the Foles pick?

Mahomes changes everything. He really does.

I thought Andy Reid was the ultimate player's coach?

Another reason to care less and less about this team.

My guess is 2018 4th and 6th and 2019 3rd and 5th.

That would be terrible.

all these GMs/Players/Coaches/Team Personnel....they all shoot the breeze in the off season and in their personal lives. Hell, the NFL is just a giant good ol boys club. I suspect it's widely known around the NFL that Peters is awesome, but is a complete PITA.

Otherwise, we wouldn't be sitting here reading about only 2 or 3 teams showing any real interest for a proven, young, and elite player at his position.
...at a position that's also HUGE in the NFL right now.

that tells me that for most of these people who dedicate an insane amount of time working at football (GMs/Coaches etc) have already decided (collectively), the juice isn't worth the squeeze when it comes to Marcus.

Yeah. It's a TERRIBLE GUESS.

I can’t believe the Chiefs might only get equal value of a 3rd rd comp pick for a player as talented as Peters.

It really speaks to how much of a ****ing cancer he is. I don’t see any team giving him a long term deal at this rate. He’ll be a journeyman playing on 1-2 year incentive deals unless he fixes his attitude

Exactly.

For as GREAT as this board makes him out to be...sounds like there weren't many teams waiting in line with an offer.

The dude is a ticking time bomb.

See ya.

Its weird how no one wants to discuss the possibility that Peters reputation is well known outside of KC

He's better than that, he's a Doctor's coach! Not one of those quota MDs either.

It’s going to end up being very minuscule compensation and people are going to flip shit. But they need to just prepare for it, cause this guy dropped to 18th in the draft for a reason. Everyone knows he’s a total headcase and no one is mortgaging their future on that.

wazu 02-23-2018 03:55 PM

Guess this is a reality check. Only explanation is the anthem stuff destroyed his value. No team wants to part with a first rounder for any player if it means putting up with that.

Half the players in the NFL are "Head Cases"
