Who's the woman on the call?

No kidding, can you imagine taking home-field advantage based on a tie from this game?

There is no good way out of this. All bad options.

NFL's entire business depends on this game getting played this week. It's gonna end up happening one way or the other I think in the next few days, but it's going to look awful to the league to push forward.

Absolute nightmare for Goodell.

trndobrd 01-02-2023 08:53 PM

If they get word that Hamilton is stable and going to be OK, no reason not to resume the game.* Otherwise, need to postpone until tomorrow.

*The NHL restarted the game after the got word that Clink Maralchuk was stable after his injury.

Insensitive to even be thinking about the game.

I read it as him saying none of that matters right now.

No time at all. The scissors that any medical professional carry can cut through that shit easily.

True. I don’t care about the score btw. I just wondered.

I’m an atheist so I don’t pray. But my goodness I hope that young man is okay. If it was a chiefs player I’d be crying

At the very least the nfl has to think of the fans at the stadium. They shouldn’t have to stand around waiting until you can make the right decision.

Send the fans home, goodell. Figure this shit out later

there are weather delays longer than this. waiting an hour to see if the guy is OK isn't terrible

I think they give them a day or two to regroup but this will be played.

Has to unless they wanna push the entire week of games back one week and cancel the pro bowl. Make it one week between afc/nfc championship and super bowl instead of 2.

Bills could decide to call it a draw and the Bengals could agree to it. A tie for both teams- hurts them in the playoff standing though.

Red Dawg 01-02-2023 08:54 PM

They are not going to play. Coached look like they are not.

Rain Man 01-02-2023 08:54 PM

A player is walking around out of uniform. That says something.
