KU playing down to one of the worst and most boring teams in the NCAA? Sounds like an awful game to watch.

Man, I got really sad thinking that I'll never see EJ, Releford and Withey playing in the Fieldhouse again. Seems like they have been here for ages. I don't think I've ever felt as sad about any other group leaving. I'm not sure why I feel that way. It's going to be really, really strange next year.

I'm probably the biggest Releford fan on here. I freaking love defense and he's a BAMF. Really kicked up his offense too. On top of it, he seems like a really good kid.

This is a really great class. EJ, is as good or better as he was bad there for a stretch dude can really be prolific. Withey is a truly great defensive talent. And even Young achieves some great things through pure hustle and want to and isn't nearly the defensive liability he once was.

Man, this class would rock hard if TRob was still around.

I think I miss the 08 seniors more than these guys, but they're right up there with Collins and Reed as my favorite seniors.

Yeah, that was a good class too. But just by nature of the way they play, I like Self's teams more than Roys. Probably fading with time, but Self puts together some goddamn good teams.

Are the senior speeches online anywhere? We have Time Warner and so we didn't get the videos... and i don't have ESPN3 in my hotel here in Mountain View, CA.

Well, it was a pretty clear foul by Robinson on that play. Glad we got to make up for Steve Moore's hideously embarrassing flop in Columbia. So I guess the series would've been 1-1 last year if the refs got the calls right. (And we all know that 1 play makes ALL the difference. Right Iowa State?)


The video is pretty good. I'd question though why we need donors when we're paying our loser women's coach 2 million per year. Seriously: KU doesn't need money when we've got insane money to throw at a worthless sport that generates zero income.

So, yeah. Arkansas at Misery is the worst basketball I've seen this year. Including KU at TCU.

Maybe. If we played great and they were both meh. If all teams are at their best it's a toss up.

Indiana at its best is the nation's #1 team, followed probably by a healthy Duke and Miami. I would put KU just a shade behind them with Louisville and Florida, probably a step ahead of the Mighigan teams. I dont' know what to think of Gonzaga.

The SEC is now rated below the A-10 even. It's a complete joke of a conference. You're best program is not even in the tourney as of today. If KU ever had to play garbage schools like taht every week, I'd just turn off the TV for two months and skip the exhitibitions.

I fail to see the embarrasent of not getting calls at the end of close road games like some teams.

Maddux states Wiggins and Randle could both play for Self and that'd be a powerful 1-2 punch. They then talk about Wiggins and believe that Wiggins isn't trending with UK. Maddux feels that it's between Florida St., UNC, and KU but ultimately it'll come down to KU and UNC bc of Wiggins maintaining his brand of possibly becoming a future number one pick.

Both Randle and Wiggins coming to KU next year would be amazing.

I am very content with the class as is.

Just getting Randle alone would be pretty amazing.

Every time I convince myself to pay zero attention to recruiting, some piece of recruiting information comes along to give me a raging hardon.

I still don't believe for a second that Wiggins is going anywhere other than Kuntucky, but maybe I'm just jaded after years of abuse.

Rape whistles would be on sale on amazon if we get both those guys.

For the record, Wiggins will be the number one pick whether he attends KU or Valdosta St. He's a better Ben McLemore.

It's odd though too. Cal is a great recruiter obviously, but average head coach, and that couldn't be more obvious than this year. If I were a highly touted player I'd want to be coached up not just told you'll showcase me properly so I can be one and done. Must be the $$$ and other benefits he offers. I'll never forget Bobby Knight going off on a rant on Cal calling him "a disgrace to basketball and sports in general" then ESPN making him apologize a day later. Truth is awesome.

If the reports are true about his play, he's much better than anything we've seen in the NCAA since Durant. It won't much matter where he goes at all.

I'd be happy with just getting Randle (that should make KU a NC contender again), but I'm not going to lose any sleep over recruiting stuff.

You have a last place recruiting class while Weis hasn't won a conference game yet has netted the #1 junior in KS and a top rated juco class.
